bayportkat Posted June 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2019 Is this type of charging station allowed on Adventure of the Seas? Don’t want to bring it if it is not allowed!

Rare h20skibum Posted June 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2019 They are more concerned with power strips that may have surge protectors. I have one similar to what you show, and have had no problem with taking it aboard.

Iamcruzin Posted June 25, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 25, 2019 I brought a similar USB port device on Anthem. (just a rectangle block and cord to plug in no stand). I was delighted to see that the newer ship had two USB ports built in and that's all that we needed to charge two phones and an iPad. I assume the older ships have the standard two outlets and no USB.

lovescats5 Posted June 25, 2019 #13 Share Posted June 25, 2019 Just because you have the ability to charge 14 things at one time does not mean that you do. We took one like that on Anthem and it worked just fine and there was no problem getting it on. As someone said, as long as it is not a surge protector you should be fine. 1

The most they can plug in is 5 and that is very reasonable especially if you are traveling with kids who also have electronics that need to be charged. The two USB ports on Anthem were enough for me and my wife but on other trips when the kids were younger and sharing a room with us that would never work. We took power strips back then especially since it was before USB charging. Edited June 25, 2019 by Iamcruzin

Maybe I do-what does it matter? But I don’t-it is an ease of use issue-don’t need to gather the A.C. adapters for my cords-can just pack this as is

Well being that everything that we (my wife and I use) are charged via USB there are times that we can have 7 items at least plugged in. 2 phones (yes we get the WiFi, don't preach to us), 2 iPads, Earbuds for working out (yes I do), 2 Over the earphones for when we lay out at the pool. We have one that can handle 10 devices. And this is just for two of us. I can't imagine a family. Edited June 26, 2019 by Goofyfanatic
