Antibodies develop when you are exposed to someone else's blood through transfusion, miscarriage, or childbirth.

That makes sense.  I'm negative and both my boys were positive so had to have the RhoGam shots.

Thanks for the explanation of the male blood donor request.  Years ago we were on a cruise and they asked for certified donors, male only.  Not having any medical training, I wondered why male.   I even tried googling it and didn’t find an answer.  Now, after all those years, I understand.  Thanks!

We were also on a cruise when they requested a male blood donor at midnight. I thought it was for religious or cultural reasons. It all makes sense now. Although I did wonder how many people have their blood type card with them. My DH and I are both A negative, so hopefully they would let us give each other blood if needed.

Now we can see why Mr 1750 was so triggered towards Sir John. I guess he thought he could have been the top Pinnacle on board, but he wasn’t. 🙂

Not even close. Just one among the other 164 Pins. A commoner. 🙂

Wow! I started way to late in life to cruise. I will never get that many points. I will be lucky if I don't die before making Diamond.

Thanks for sharing the numbers. That's a lot of C&A members and cruise points!

Start cruising solo, you will get there in half the time (assuming that you don't book a solo cabin)!

I second that. I scattered myself around instead if being loyal to just one line.

If he books a JS or above, he'll get there 3 times as fast.  (Triple points for travelling solo in JS, right?)

I think we are going to be next-door neighbors on Allure next March.  We’re in 1720.

Actually ... it may be me. We have 1720 one week and 1718 the other week. I don’t know which is spring break so we are taking two week... one is legit and the other we are taking PJ out of school (haters hate).

Wish I could afford solo in a JS, I tend to do inside cabins

Oh dear.

When do you reach land?

So it recently became day 7, we reach Malaga on day 11.

I did speak with Peter the HD, he confirmed it's in short supply, but would try and send some to us.

I know this got off topic...so back on topic...LOVE your review John and I hope Laura feels better soon.  I hope they didn't quarantine her!

No quarantining,  but this would definitely be a great place to do it.😉
