Little FYI, is you still get your period they will give you a pregnancy test that morning before they do the procedure.

Four years ago the recommendation was still age 50 for anyone who was not high risk.

My mom had colon cancer (she’s fine now). I was kind of surprised he was so adamant about it now and not when I first mentioned her a few years ago.

That is a whole different story. That family history classifies you as high risk. Anywhere from 35-40 would have been a reasonable starting age. I'm glad your mom did well.

I meant to share this a couple weeks ago.  We celebrated our granddaughter's  1st birthday. I wanted to share because I love the food plates my daughter makes for a get together.

Lizzy also had a hernia that was fixed. Her surgery is more invasive. I feel bad for her.

Garter snakes, we have several in and around our yard.  Rodrhi is not too bright, but he does know when they are under the rocks in the garden and if one appears suddenly he jumps straight up in the air about a foot.  His brother, the other rescue that ended up in Maryland was bitten by a copperhead and nearly died last summer/fall.  Mine is not any smarter.

 

Someone on our cruise doing the cruise prior to ours said there were over 3000 on the current cruise and under 2000 on our repositioning cruise.  

 

This could be a Unicorn!!!!!!!

 

Ok, I am trying to stay calm.  

 

Andrew, have you ever waxed your boards?  I have wax, I am just not sure if I should apply it or not.

Us Aussies get a birthday present in the mail from the Govt on our 50th Birthdays -  testing kit for bowel  cancer  A follow up one is sent out  if you don’t do it the first time.

Have a colleague who is doing their colonoscopy through the public health system here.  12 months after making the request, the colonoscopy is booked for next month.

I had a colonoscopy privately 3 years ago.  I was surprised that I found the solution quite drinkable and the pre-op prep pretty straightforward (after fearing the worst).
