Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

If there was a PM feature then 99.9% of the posts would be about cruising.Every cruise board that I posted on for the past 15 years had that feature.

There is a PM feature here but it's been disabled as long as I can remember.

Me thinks there has been some abuse in the past.

What does she think of cats?

She had a feline friend at the condo, but they moved. He was over 20 years old.

Not sure what she thinks of the Broadway musical. I have a copy, but not sure she's seen it. Pretty sure she wouldn't like the recent movie

Safe travels

Thank you.  Keep enjoying your cruise! We made it to our Memphis hotel where masks are mandatory inside. Tomorrow, home!

I GIVE UP!!!  One minute I can hit the react button.  It works;  it doesn't work.  I multi-quote one minute, then I can't the next time.  I can quote one minute, can't the next minute.  I keep getting out of CC, then go on to quote, or react, or whatever, then I again have to get out of CC and go on again.  This is driving me crazy!!!!!  not in a good way🤪

Now you really are one of us!

I find tedious lawn work such as lawn mowing, raking (now leaf blowing) and shoveling (now snow blowing) to be therapeutic. Like you, I did it as a kid. And when I worked in an office environment 60-80 hours a week, it was my chance to be outdoors & clear my mind. And it continues to clear my mind today even though the 12+ hour work days are long behind me.

Same here I love doing my yard work, not a fan of shoveling/snow blowing but once I get out there I do like playing in the snow.

I e-mail with 8 people who post on CC.Six I met on cruises and we exchanged e-mails. One guy gave me his e-mail address on one of the threads .Another guy expressed an interest in e-mailing with me but neither one of us wanted to post our e-mail addresses on a public board. He told me that he posts on a non cruise travel board .I joined that board solely to exchange e-mail addresses because they have the PM feature.I am sure that many people would want to e-mail with others on CC. If CC was able to regulate the use of a PM feature it would not be a problem.Supposedly they fear people discussing their TA’s.I would have no problem with the CC hierarchy reading my e-mail .

I am not debating that .If a post violates TOS then definitely a suspension is warranted .

Based on your comments, itvseems you feel some of your deletions were not warranted.

Suspensions occur as you earn points for your transgressions. Unfortunately they accumulate

Most of my deleted posts were a result of the post I responded to being deleted.

"I swear officer, I did nothing wrong. It's his/her fault". *** points finger *** 😇

That's what happens when you quote a post with questionable content.

Also our posts get deleted when a thread gets deleted. I lost a ton this last year over Covid

Winding down our last few days with our grandkids in PA, before they start school next week.

This morning we were off for a hike with them, and spotted deer and an eagle.  It hit 90°, so it was a good afternoon to spend some time on the boat.

A couple fishing poles found their way onboard.

And a couple fish.

Granddaughter gave up on fishing and snacked

It was so smooth on the lake, I wished one of them was at least 12 so we could use them as a ski spotter.

Showed up to pick up the grandkids this morning, and they were busy playing music on their new refrigerator.  I guess it has been a while since I shopped for major appliances.

Evidently, you can watch tv on it, get your weather reports, and it has cameras to see inside without opening the door.  I guess it even sends you a text if the door isn’t closed, and you can check what is in your fridge from your phone app.

Sounds like way to much to eventually go wrong. Maybe that is just the old guy in me talking.

My fridge is semi smart. Tells me temps, door ajar, turns ice on and off, etc.

I cannot explain my point on an open board. If there was a PM feature I could explain.

TSOD..."I'm retired, don't ask me to do a damn thing".

My TSOTD is similar.... "I'm Retired, but I work part-time as a Pain In The Ass"

Amazingly, most of my acquaintances say that's true. I'm not sure why.😮😲

19 all at once?  Wow?  What happened to them?  Did they all fall into a black hole?

sigh….😇

Not that you are looking for a serious answer but yeah. Message board forums are a dying breed. Like landline phones, pagers and typewriters.

Last cruise I researched, I spent more time on u tube and book of faces than here.  Makes me go hum.....😇

Trying to wrap up Day 5 of the Disney Trip Report:

After walking around the shops, we checked out the scenery along the water front homes.  They built a walkway behind all the houses for public access so everyone can have view of the boats and the water.  The is south/west facing so you can see the sunset on a clear day.

There were many signs for vacation rentals so many people rent the place as a big family gathering.  I saw some online places goes up to 6 beds, which can fit a multi-generational family summer vacation.

Lots of people strolling the walk way as it goes all around the perimeter of the island.  We only walk maybe 25% of the entire perimeter.
