Several years ago I had a landscaper install some hardscaping (brick paver patio) with various shrubs and flowers surrounding the patio.     She planted a myrtle and every since then I have been in love with them.  I now have one in my front landscaping that I redid myself about 3 years and then added 2 others planted in my backyard.      I love there that there are so many different options in color and size.

We have one in our yard here is Virginia, It's a white one. Really neat when you get up close and look at the actual flower on the trees. So delicate and petite.

They bloom late in the summer here.

@Luckynana    How is Ava?

Ava is doing well, Debbie!  She went back to school on Monday and has been at her Lacrosse practices.  She has been on 3 prescriptions, and finished one of them today.  She is on an antibiotic, as well as medicine for the parasite that she picked up while in the DR.   Her Prom is this coming Friday, so we're pretty happy and relieved that she is doing so well.  Thank you!

We love our crepe myrtle, also.  So pretty!!

Beautiful!      Yes, the flowers are so petite and delicate.

Something I learned with myrtles.

Not only do they have different sizes but there are some that bloom a little early than others.

The one I have in my front yard is usually in full bloom by end of June/early July but  my original pink one near my patio blooms in August.

I like the fridge in the corner/angle.    always good to have a countertop next to the fridge.

Also like the look of the microwave cabin / vent much better than when that was going to be open.

Is the current sketch the way Dani's Husband had drawn?

Pretty much Yes 🙂

That 30 inch cabinet on that side is going to have some major work done to it besides the vent which will be extended out. There also will be a drawer under the microwave for hot plates, pot holders etc.

Plus the Microwave will be recessed into that cabinet with some of the microwave going through into the coat closer behind that cabinet.

Hopefully when done my installers make it look perfect.

Judy, how is your daughter doing?  Has she gotten an appointment for her biopsy?

Best of luck to your DH with his leg surgery next week.

Thank you ! As of last evening she had not heard back from them . My husband’s many appointments pre-surgery are right on schedule.

Thanks, That black hole under the deck in picture 1 , has 2 white doors on it that are open.......That is where I keep my Garden(Mower) tractor.

The wild flowers you see around the tree,. were wild flowers we planted last year. They came up crazy high. This year we aren't planting any wild flowers around that tree but I think some wild flowers may still come up around that tree that dropped seeds on the ground when I was clearing out the old flowers last fall.

Time will tell how many come up this year. Will be interesting to see what happens in that area.

My arm is almost unnoticeable. Mostly a suggestion of bruising.
The interesting bruise is from my fall Dec 28.
My replaced knee took the brunt of the fall (and the bedroom wall…and my head).

The knee looks and works fine. My shin below the knee stayed black and finally peeled…the entire layer of skin over it.
Now the skin there feels normal, not like pebble grained leather any more, but it is blue,  Tomorrow it will be 4 months since I fell. So I’m thinking that section of my leg will stay blue!

Glad you are doing better.

Good grief, Mimi!  I remember when you fell back in December, but I seem to have missed all of the after-effects with regard to your shin.  I am so sorry!🌹

That is nice having the storage space under the patio for tractor, etc.  No need for a shed.
