Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

They said they had 2 charters left, but during the scenes of next week promo they called it the Season Finale.🤷‍♂️

I’m surprised she lasted as long as she did. She seems very nice enough, but lackadaisical when it comes to work ethic.  At least that’s how the TV portrays her. Similar to the male deck crew member they let go earlier in the season. Seemed more about the chakra and less about the work for some of them.

I think they are cancelling two charters but who knows, they just might be trying to think that with the editing.

I am really over Elizabeth though.  These stewards that complain constantly about the work really need to get a clue.  What did they think they were hired to do?

And Lisa just chimed in that he really isn’t interested in her. I feel for how TV makes things look but some of the guests have been far worse. 😁

Yep James was totally playing/using her.  I felt bad for her.

Did anyone catch Watch What Happens Live last night with Elizabeth and Ashling ?  No love lost between those two!

I started to watch it but I had to go to bed. But with the way Ashling was fueling the fire Fran had for Liz I can understand how these two would have no love for each other.

Hey I'd clean toilets, make beds and serve meals/drinks to earn $1500 in three days!

Not to mention they are getting well over a thousand in tips for three days work.

Work hard a few days, party hard between charters and go home at the end of the short season with between $20k and $30k if I remember correctly.  Not a bad gig.

Very true.  Although they do have to deal with the likes of Delores and those two spoiled, drunk obnoxious kids from time to time.

I like the chef. Love her humour, but a bit rough when she drinks.

I watch these reality shows and can't help to think what the families of these people think of their behavior.  I would be mortified if Rachel was my daughter and was saying everything she does on the show.  The drinking is really bad too but the vulgarity is crazy!

just brought these up from the basement and have to admit I teared up a little, especially seeing the cruise tag still on there from Jan 2020 😭

I have done that.  I then remember that there are people who have lost family, friends and livelihoods due to this damn C thing.

So I end up feeling sad for missing my trips and guilty for feeling sad about it !!

Yes, they do make some good money fast and those on galley talk all have nice homes and clothes.  Good to see some of them dont blow the money as fast as they make it.  Wonder what they make per episode?

Sometimes I answer the nuisance calls and just lead them on for a while.  I play gullible and ask stupid questions.  I figure if they’re busy with me they aren’t bothering someone else.  Of course, I usually just ignore them.

My father had a great way of handling these calls (pre-mobile phone days). He would say, “wait a minute, let me get a pen”.  He’d then set the phone down and walk away. He’d come back much later to hang up the phone. Who knows how long they waited for him to return before giving up.

So. Having a lot of time getting the dining room back together once the new floor was done. Still waiting on China hutch, another corner cabinet and new chandelier. It is finally coming into place.
Table set because we are having our COVID friendly dinner party Sunday. The only 2 couples we have been together with in 11 months.
