This looks like the time share vacation property or the ship painting sales pitch.

Not a bad deal if you are the type that would sit through their ship painting sales pitch.

Just don't how many sessions you have to go through to get the two free drinks.

You want free alcohol go to an art auction, take along a good book.

Casino lessons have always been free on every cruise line I have ever been on.

Go figure RC is the first to start charging kind of like the ship tours.

Personally I stopped going to the casino when they raised all the min bets to $10.

They WANT you to know how to play.  So you PLAY.

So where would that be when you walk into a casino on the ship, all the dealers seem to be busy, so how would they give you a free lesson on each type of game?

They aren't going to spend time teaching you with regular gamblers already playing at the tables?

They give the free lessons starting from 1 hour before the casino opens everyday.. Its clearly posted in the cruise compass and its always free. Do not spend money on this item from the cruise planner

I think the draw would be that you receive the $25 cost back in free play, and also receive two free drinks.  So planning ahead results in two drinks, which would probably work best for light drinkers without a drink package.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, how can it be a bad purchase when they give the $25 back to play plus 2 drinks? Maybe I'm missing something?

Seriously, would you or anyone else have the guts to do this.

Yes, I have except it wasn't a book, it was magazines.  I have done it numerous times on various cruise lines.

In regards to paying $25 for lessons.  Considering drinks are around $12, between the two drinks and the $25 of free play, you are getting a $48 value for $25.  Sounds like a good deal esp. if you were planning on playing games anyway.

Sorry should of explained more.. Its done on The first day 30-45 min before the casino opens basically while they are waiting to get to international waters... Then its done about 30-45 min before they open on port days.. Its not generally done on sea days because exactly the casino doesn't close..

its not a bad purchase if your not a casino member.. If you are prime and above you get free drinks anyway so paying $25 to get $25 in freeplay for a casino member is a bad deal.. When I wrote my first comment I forget not everyone is prime or above lol sorry about that.

I just looked at that for my August 3rd (yes, I know, maybe) cruise.  I also saw advance slot tournament tickets for $20.  Is there still a Diamond discount for that, or has it been discontinued?

The Diamond discount on the slo5 and poker tournaments has been eliminated.

Okay, I’m all in for the $20 slot tournament.  Waiting to hear the details of the free drinks on the $25 lesson deal, but will most likely go for it if the drinks are different from Diamond drinks and can be used at times other than during the lessons.  This reminds me of the short-lived package they tried a while ago with the “bonus” chips for buying in advance.  Nice to see fun promos in the casino.
