Trial cruises look fun but very pointless and expensive for the companies itself in my opinion. I doubt anyone would want to spend some time on an empty ship where nothing works

thanks for your opinion but it is a requirement to move ahead , every thing will work plus some ... happy day Roger 😇

I spend a lot of tie in the pool having a few beers.  If the requirement is that you won't need to wear a mask if you are physically in the pool, then I think I will be making a lot of new friends.

No I won’t cruise if I have to wear a mask.

That was what I was thinking, until I started experiencing cruise withdrawal 🙂. The only part I hate about the masks, is wearing them while sunbathing...  hopefully this won’t be the policy when we go next year.  However, I am booking a room with a big balcony, just in case...

Thank you guys for continuing to support and watch my cruise vlogs.

This pandemic has been quite tough for me, and making YouTube videos has definitely given me a purpose.

I have already planned out the videos I want to make, for when I eventually get back on a ship. Trust me when I say. I will be making the best cruise content on the internet!

Yes, but might be a bit busy ATM.

They're all really busy right now over there.  I am reaching out to some of the team (internally), trying to get tech questions answered, and they're all really busy and don't have much time for anything outside of work.

^ while he didn't say which ship or date, he did let it slip it's to the US and it seemed like he needed to get the medical done soon. The need for a casino host seems pretty low on the priority list, so him getting a call seems like progress, maybe.

I'm so happy for Chris.  REALLY looking forward to hearing more from him.  Sure hope he can get to London to get his medical tests done.

Riley finally posted a new Vlog!  He has been working so hard the past few months he really hasn’t had much time to make these, but his mom and I sure do love seeing them.  They always feel like letters home... 🤗

Going back to my theory. I don’t think it’s an accident that Riley was called to go back on first ship and Chris on second ship. That’s way too big of a coincidence.

Certainly a possibility.  While we deservedly give their IT team a hard time here, their social media team is usually active and good.  Riley and Chris have about 80K followers between them (some probably follow both) and many are likely active cruisers.

As we say in the gaming circles.  "Streamer Privilege"

Some theory 🙄 It's got nothing to do with Riley 's technical skills and that his girlfriend also works on the ship . ?

Again, from their 100,000 member workforce, their top two employee bloggers just happened to get offered jobs on first and second ship to return. Just saying.

Reily has had one Youtube upload since he started working again and had none in the 3 months before that. I think you might be reading a bit too much into the situation, oh and existing qualified Q class techs might not be so easy to come by.

So what is being insinuated is the following:

At a time when cruise line PR is badly needed if the industry is to survive, employees who have a significant positive impact on the line's public image are identified as high-value employees and prioritized for opportunities.

So, to me, this sounds like the rare case of a business actually recognizing the worth of a low-level worker and rewarding that person for exceptional achievement. By continuing to employ this person.

No, it's not a coincidence.
