Another clue - The house that I showed is open to the public as a museum. It is in an Australian city but not a capital city.

Good guess - well, an excellent guess 🙂 but it is a bit older than the Opera House, a bit smaller, and further north.

Excellent, I now have it narrowed down to the 1667 museums that are in houses north of Sydney but are not in Brisbane, or Darwin. This may take a while so if you don't hear from me, I am on a cruise.

Correct pretty distinctive of you seen it. It is the best animatronic clock and I don't say that just because I love Ghibli movies🤗. So much happens on the clock it is like a theatre show

 We stayed in a hotel just across from it walked past it every day, there was a great little pub just down from it and the beers where great.

They don't make roads like this in Queensland, and the temp gets a bit cool to, that's was day time temp, you should see night time temp.

We went out on these to see the northern lights, and this was the temp while we where out there. Yes we are in northern Canada.

Ok i have to go out for tea so don't want to leave this unanswered while i am out.

The lake is called Great Slave Lake, and yes we did see the northern lights, now here is the hint for the town.
