Looks like Bliss is picking up crew off other ships and will be going thru Suez on to Asia and then TP to west coast of USA for the scheduled Mexican Riviera cruises this fall.  

 

Let's see if this becomes a reality ....

Yeah! ETA tomorrow (Tues July 13) morning. Her first cruise is out of New York (to Bermuda) on Sept 26 ... let's see if it becomes a reality!

 

Bliss is enroute to Augusta Sicily ETA July 14. Let's see what happens next ....

Appears that Breakaway has departed Barcelona and is heading back to Toulon France .... mmmm .... 😲

 

Escape is back in Brest France .... what happened? Something broken and maybe still under warranty? Escape was in drydock at Brest earlier this year.

Yes, the go karts did not make the ship during the main dry dock, so it won't be done now. 

 

We were on the Escape in 2019 and had dinner with one of the senior officers. He was discussing some of the changes that were going through engineering review at that time,,, and one was to remove the ropes course and sports deck and install a go kart track. 

 

Post-dry dock photos show that they did not do that.

How long does it take to remove a ropes course and install a go-kart track and is there any need to be in a drydock to do that?  Drydock time is probably more expensive than time at a berth, so maybe the 4(?) days that Escape was in drydock was not enough time to do the track so now she is back at a berth to have that done?

Man I hope not - this will for sure lead me to cancel my upcoming cruise on the Escape (unless, of course, NCL cancels it on their own since it's out of Florida in November...*shrugs*)

After the rendezvous in Brindisi the three ships went separate ways ....

 

Getaway went to and is now anchored off Augusta Sicily.

 

Jade is now enroute to Piraeus Greece, ETA tomorrow morning 18 July.

 

Bliss sailed across the lake over to Bar Montenegro and is now docked across from Spirit. THIS must be some sweet sight for the crew on both ships, able to see and wave to each other!

Newsflash! 

 

Pride of America is finally out of dry dock after almost 7 weeks and is enroute to Astoria. We will find out where she will be haeding after Astoria.

 

Bliss is having a mini cruise out in the ocean, back to Seattle on July 24th.

 

Jewel was also out for a run and is  now anchored off Miami.
