Thank you for this post.  Based on the port schedule the NS is scheduled to depart on 1/15 at 5 pm ET.

She is not scheduled to leave until Friday evening.  That is an unusually long time for her to be in port.  Maybe working on CDC approvals?

She leaves again on 12th January.

I don't know.  Perhaps she is doing what fleet off San Diego is doing.  i am most anxious ffor cruising to start up. I lived throgh the Asian Flu of 1958 and suffered withthe Hong Kong flu of 68 and 69 and they were both worse than Covid 19 but nothing shut down,

Worse? Covid is at 2 million dead world wide. Both the flus you mention have death tolls of 1-4 million. I would call those equal. Covid is not done yet, and the side effects are far worse. And different technology is involved in responding and treating the 3 pandemics.
