RCI CC new amenities ?

Has RCI announced any changes in the loyalty amenities, please? I am wondering if, so far, P's still get 3 bottles of wine complimentary? I hope that the drink amenity on the Singapore cruises is carried over to all ships when cruising resumes. I would be very happy with 6 drinks any time every day.

Double Points???   Pretty soon almost everyone will be in the Diamond Lounge

I doubt  Anyone  actually books a cruse to get double points.  My T/A agreed.

I won't.

We have booked a couple of cruises because of the double cruise promotions.

Lol- we booked our specific cruise to make sure we’d get double points.  If it weren’t for the double points, we would have sailed next April, instead of the date that we picked 🙂

I'm not sure the  Singapore protocols will transfer to the US if we ever start sailing. Remember - these are cruises with no stops so everyone is on board all day.  Perhaps a reason for the the HH  ( or no HH) time  change.

Does anyone know if those on board the  Singapore cruises still ( or ever) get  to select the  C&A gift(s)?   The cruises are  short, so of they did, if would only be one gift to those who are eligible.

Perhaps another reason for the generous drink offer.

I have a feeling that because of the ever increasing numbers of Diamond members on RCL cruises that major changes will be coming. And I don't think they will be adding benefits. As a practical matter, the past year or so the Diamond lounges have been standing room only for the first 90 minutes (until people begin to leave for dinner). IMHO I believe it would make sense to have a lounge for D+ and above and have the Diamond members have benefits loaded to their sea pass cards. A drink limit, perhaps a limit for specialty coffees etc. What does everyone think?

e...^^^We'll wait until our next RC cruise to see what or if any changes have been made to the current C&A program concerning perks/benefits. BTW my Magic 8 Ball says, "cannot predict now". 🎱👍

Given that the amount of D, D+ and P have decreased (perhaps significantly) over the past year, there should be no reason to believe there will cuts in benefits.  If anything, RCCL may have to increase benefits to attract more people back to sailing.

As long as your asking, maybe a lounge for Pinnacles only, D and D+ get drinks on card

Good to see your sense of humor is back.

Simply the facts.

Alternative Facts, but hey, those work lately.

There is absolutely no FACTS that say Royal has to add benefits to entice future cruising.

This is all in your head, plain and simple.

If anything, they need to entice new cruisers who wouldn't participate in any loyalty scheme anyway.

That is way more factual than your earlier statement,  but in reality it is merely my opinion.

Do not label your opinion as a fact.

I reached 340 points on my last cruise before the pandemic.  My new request was to add another bottle of wine to the one I already receive.  I’ve lost a total of 16 bottles of wine on my 8 canceled cruises so far. Wonder if they’ll give them all to me on my next cruise that sails???

That wine might help you eat those dozens   of chocolate covered strawberries and 8 plates of cookies that will be delivered.

Just  be happy you didn’t select a beach towels, as you would  need an extra suitcase to cart them home.

Hurts as a D+ to say we are already  booked on 2 NCL cruises and if necessary will stay with them if the screw with our benefits.   Royal is our favorite but ...........

Even had a butler on one. Still no good

It is a FACT that the numbers of D, D+ and P have declined over the past year.  There were no sailings while, sadly, folks have passed away.  Do you dispute this FACT.

The other part of my statement clearly said that RCCL "MAY."  The use of the word "May" was also factual.

I'm saddened that it seems you feel a need to attack anything I say.

We cruise a lot.  Almost platinum plus on NCL    Prefer their Transatlantic cruises by far.

Did have a horrible experience on the NCL Star in 2017.   Ship totally broke down.

But hate being nickled and dimed by any business.  Taking away benefits is just as bad.
