How are the Swans doing 2021

Recommended Posts

Thanks for this Docker, maybe this increases my chances of seeing the Swans, assuming they play.

When I saw the email with this message, I didn't know what you meant about the thing we are not allowed to mention. Now that I logged in to CC,  I saw the warning. Sort of like She Who Must Be Obeyed (from Rumpole of the Bailey--I loved that show)!

Can't check the TV schedule until tomorrow night but at least I have an idea now.

Go Swans!

What happened--I thought things were under control down under???

Although I did read about the spiders spinning huge webs on top of plants in Victoria  (Gippsland???)

I haven't heard anything about this. Is it pretty recent?

Last couple of days. More restrictions today. Seems one limo driver couldn’t follow simple rules.

Swans will play Port in Adelaide on Saturday. The game will now start at 4.30pm Melbourne time.

One of the quarantine features is that the Swans will fly on a charter Saturday morning, and return to Melbourne immediately after the game. Typically, teams are required to fly in the day before a game.

I'll have to see if it will be on TV here--no games tonight 😞

Interesting approach. I guess this limits exposure of the Swans to covid??

Other way around.

As the outbreak is in Sydney, this approach reduces exposure to Adelaide and its people.

With NSW having the outbreak, it limits South Australians to the spread. 😀

Ah yes, of course. Are they testing the Swans before the game? That seems like  a good way to monitor the virus and limit exposure.

All teams are tested regularly and yes I would assume before they fly out and possibly before the game.

Buddy has been reported for front on contact (usually hitting a player who is stretched out to get the ball. Could be fist or severe body contact).

I can’t find vision, yet.

May get a fine.

Had an early golf lesson today, so just getting to my email. Thanks for all the posts Docker. The game was on TV here and I wanted to watch, but I feel asleep and didn't wake up until 7 am! I must have been tired 😉

Another sort of close loss and now Buddy getting wild. Sorry I missed it.

Tonight the Giants-Hawks and Blues-Crows games are on, with the first game starting at 9 here. I should be able to stay awake for that one.

Go Swans!

Three games on here tonight, back-to-back. Alas, not the Swans.

From the standings, I think this will be a tough one for the Swans and maybe a 'must win'. What is the word on the street down under?? 😉

The game is being played on neutral ground due to lockdowns, at Geelong's home ground, Kardinia Park. For what it is worth, the Swans are the bookies favourite. Good luck.
