I just rechecked the Rotterdam 150th Anniversary which I finalized yesterday.  Our Price for our Room went up by $300 since yesterday and we have included the other Have It All with Free Grats, Drink Pkg and 2 Dinners.

That was on my watch list.  I need to go through my watch entire list and see the damage.

I just looked at our 50 day SP cruise and it went up over $10,000-that can’t be possible?  😱 that’s just crazy.   I’m assuming they are in the midst of changing over to the promo starting tomorrow but that’s a huge jump.

Besides my report of my current reservation here is from my wish list.  All prices are Have it all OLD to Have it all New Inside cabin lowest tier

29 day FLL to ROT Transatlantic $4899 to $5209

35 day SD to SD, Tahiti. $5124 to $6699

24 Day Bos to Bos, Iceland $5699 to $5959

11 Day ANC to VAC, Land & Sea 2xDenali $3489 to $3549

MY DH's favorite is a world cruise segment and the price is the same and includes no promotions

Did you get the casino discount or no?     Crazy prices.  We are in a VA midship.  Glad we booked when we did.

It did not seem so on the discount.. we are in a SS mid ship as well.

We are smiling ear to ear to be booked at our price point!

I agree!   As expensive as this cruise was when we booked I’m happy to have been able to pick our cabin and was ok with the cost plus perks it came with.

I thought it was still being updated yesterday, but now I am thinking the promo is available for departures late December and later. We have a booking Dec 5, and it not showing on that cruise. Instead it has a "Flexible Fare" option but no perks. The price is still up from our February booking price and now no perks.

I can top that, Joseph.  Our Neptune went up $11,700 😲 and no longer includes gratuities (the credit towards excursions does NOT come close to replacing the value of those), and the deposit is no longer discounted 50%.  SOOOOO glad we booked when we did, as I know you and everyone else currently on our roll call will concur!  Cheers!  Barb

Barb... Wow $11,700 Wow good for you!  Yes!

I noticed the loss of gratuities as well on a long cruise like ours that's  over $1400. in added value

I decided to play along and check our 25 day Hawaii/Mex Riviera for Feb 2022.  We already have the View and Verandah (I think), and free wi-fi.  The Have it all Promo is $5900 (Cdn) more than we paid, plus we would lose the gratuities.  Three shore excursions might be nice inclusions, but lesser value than the gratuities.

Just finished the Webinar for Travel Agents, here are the key takeaways:

  • Three basic rate codes: Have it All (with perks), Advantage (without perks, refundable deposit), Non-Refundable deposit (without perks).  There will still be limited time sales promotions, but they will all stack on top of Have it All (sort of like Princess recently did with Best Sale Ever and Princess+)
  • Group rates do not include Have it All perks, but they can be added for $45pp/day by agents inputting a code when booking.
  • The same is true for any other existing booking or pricing point that does not include the Have it All perks with the exception of Non-Refundable deposit rates which do not combine with Have it All (or any other promos).
  • Pricing difference between Have it All and Advantage fares was not addressed (it seems to vary by category and sailing and is not a flat pp/day rate like Princess Savers/ Princess+).
  • Gratuities were intentionally left out so that HAL can still offer as a limited time booking incentive on all bookings, or periodically offer as a perk through specific travel agencies/consortium's, or allow travel agents to add as a value add on their own as a way to close sales.

So, my reading is that this is a long term plan to make HAL almost AI, with the option for HAL to add grats during 'wave season' 'King's Day' etc.

If so, sounds good!

Yes - like Princess+, Celebrity's Always Included, or NCL's Fee@Sea this is a long term pricing strategy, not a limited time sales promotion.

@AtlantaCruiser72  Thanks for all the info.  I watched (not Live) a segment on Seth Wayne today that covered this.  Have a question for you?  Can you add this on to a Complimentary Casino Offer Cruise?

Thanks!

No mention of Casino comps was made.  I do know the new fares combine with the Casino Discount offer that auto applies when booking.

Thanks!  Sounds as if a possibility!  I'm thinking of adding it on to a November Cruise so will ask about the Casino one in March when I call my PCC.

Wow. Prices have really gone up. I’m holding a booking next May for Alaska. I can’t remember what promo I booked under, maybe a previous “Have It All” that included signature beverage signature dining (not just one night), and gratuities. Even if I add an internet package, the current price is over $175 more. The $100 pp shore excursion credit helps, but then I’d have to add in the gratuities. So it’s still pricier, and we’d end up with one less dinner.

In October 2019, DD and DS booked staterooms on the same Alaskan cruise as we did for July 2021 - no perks were included. Prices for promos were never good enough to rebook but we did take advantage of Pay Early & Save. Seeing the writing on the wall, we (but not DD and DS) booked a 2022 "back-up" when the Black Friday promo included Signature beverages, Signature dining, HSC and Premium Internet - for $5 less pp than with no perks in 2019! We're all just waiting for HAL to cancel the 2021 sailing.

I checked their 2022 stateroom prices under the new Have It All and compared them to what they paid in 2019. One went up $220 pp and the other $265 pp - very good considering that they now get Signature beverages and Surf Internet plus 1 meal and maybe 1 excursion. Our stateroom was $300 more - good when compared to 2019 but not to what we got on Black Friday.

YMMV
