Locobill49 Posted August 15, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2021 We are booked into a sky suite on Millenium. I understand that there are robes and slippers in the rooms. Are the slippers reused or can you take them with you?

The robes are washed and re-used. But you can purchase new robes. Edited August 15, 2021 by C-Dragons
Rare 81Zoomie Posted August 15, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2021 The slippers are not reused. I usually take my pair home as they work great on long haul flights. On some lines and cabin categories you only get a robe to use during your cruise. If you wish to keep it you can buy one. If you inadvertently pack it you will be charged. 39august Posted August 15, 2021 #4 Share Posted August 15, 2021 On Caribbean cruises we ask for the lighter weight robes, as the plush that are in the suite are too heavy to sit on your balcony in warm weather. Slippers come in a sealed package.

Really don’t remember, but do remember that if in ships with retreat that they would engrave robes with your initials, we didn’t take robe in royal suite , did ask butler last month and was told to take them , also pajamas. We were in penthouse last month. Edited August 17, 2021 by George C
miched Posted August 18, 2021 #10 Share Posted August 18, 2021 The slippers are ok if you have size 15 feet They are one size same as the robes. One size big enough to fit people over 6ft. My wife is 5 -2 and the robes are way too large. They drag the ground and cover her hands. She has to roll up the sleeves. We also take the slippers home and donate them to the shelters Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Verbal from butler? We were in a RS on our recent Summit cruise. Our butler brought two wrapped robes for us to take home. We didn't ask. It just happened.

No negatives, other than it was really a little to big for 2 people, we did a move up to get it , we were treated like royalty, we did like the two bathrooms, no need for the second bedroom. The bathroom was bigger than most cabins , two stocked mini fridges, liquor setup of your choice picked two liter bottles one of scotch other gin both top shelf. Our butler escorted us to Luminae and informed staff we were in penthouse, we did get really nice tables , normally a table for four even when it was the two of us . Luminae maitre d heard us when we said we were eating in steak restaurant one night and went over to the steak restaurant to make sure we were ok, also on high end suites all specialty restaurants are free. You get to keep the robes and pajamas they give you . We were celebrating my wife birthday and invited those interested from roll call for a drink to see the suite and asked for some snacks for 6 or 8 and butler brought a huge selection a hot and cold appetizers, then the entire concierge staff came and sang happy birthday, gave us a cake, flowers and a bottle of wine .also most comfortable bed I ever slept in . Doubt we will do penthouse again but it was fun.
canderson Posted August 18, 2021 #14 Share Posted August 18, 2021 Have often thought to ask if they have an onboard tailoring service. I'm 5'7" and Charline is 5'1", and the bathrobes can be used as sails if the propulsion system fails!

We are treating ourselves next year to the Edge PH and I have looked all over CC but find it very hard to find any info on the suite. I have viewed almost every YouTube video out there, as well as Celebrity's own videos, on the PH but I prefer to get "insider info".

We are in a RS for 9/5 cruise and the message from the Concierge said they have Pajamas engraved with your initials. I refused the offer. Second Question - When you sailed in the Penthouse out of Terminal 25, did they have the upper suite VIP Desk (Previously called Special Delivery Desk) open? If so where is is located and do you drop luggage with the regular porters or do they take your bags at the VIP desk?

Our initials are CA and CA. How to know which are which? Real first world problem there. 😄 Then again, we don't really need PJs, but if they insist, I might have some monogrammed (HOPE they're not engravable!) to take home to my grandson. We currently have: S/M or L/XL and have been advised that the size runs a bit big. We are also able to include monogrammed initials or 1st/last name if preferred. Please let me know if pajamas would be of interest. 12 minutes ago, canderson said: Then again, we don't really need PJs, but if they insist, I might have some monogrammed (HOPE they're not engravable!) to take home to my grandson. I guess you could ask them to just give them to you um-monogramed for the grandson, or have them monogram his first name on them. Figured you might have gotten something like from the shore-side concierge before your SS cruise in a few days. You were definitely the right guy to ask! I was kind of thinking of the latter. Have managed to assure that just about all of his golf gear is monogrammed. Even found a decent deal on ProV1s with monograms for Christmas. I've found that if he knows the supply isn't endless, he's more circumspect about getting heroic during tournaments. It's his first year in college. Maybe if he has fancy PJs, he'll take the time to wash them once in awhile!

We were able to get one of our robes last cruise embroidered with the initials of someone not traveling with us. I would love to see the shape they use to model the robes...a skinny urangatang, perhaps - the length of those sleeves! We asked the shoreside concierge re the monogrammed pjs and were told that they have a ‘supply issue’ for the Silhouette UK Cruises so we are not expecting anything... gold1953 Posted September 2, 2021 #23 Share Posted September 2, 2021 I would never have room in my luggage for robes that we don't need at home. We do not like the heavy ones offered in Aqua class and concierges class

When we sailed in RS & PH from T25 the shoreside concierge emailed a placard to be put in the windshield of the car/taxi that allowed the driver to pull up right at the entrance. There was a staff person standing there with a sign for "Special Delivery" and a porter to take your luggage before you entered the terminal. She was verifying your name and suite number on a list she had.
Banjo Posted September 2, 2021 #25 Share Posted September 2, 2021 About 9 years ago I took the ships tour (great tour) on the Emerald Princess. When it was finished, along with other stuff, I was given a robe. Nice plush robe, still have it and use it. I always wanted to take Celebrity's tour. Either it was fully booked or something came up. Does Celebrity do the same with getting a robe? Also BTW, you get slippers also in Aqua Class which you can keep. They also come in a sealed plastic bag. I don't care for them because they are too loose. So we just give them away at Christmas.
