Usually when I see it is day 7, I am really sad

I am glad we have an extra day, but I could use a few more.

Not the greatest sunrise pictures today, because the clouds were a little high. I will still take these views

I found the zamboni driver in the Solarium this morning

Here is the morning rainbow. Great review and fun to follow since we are on with you and have been at many of the same events.

I mentioned how loud some of the shows were on Allure in Dani's thread.  We had to leave one as the sound level was too uncomfortable for Micheline.  For the most part, we are not 20 somethings looking for a night out in a club.  I think it's time to start mentioning this in the post cruise survey, for whatever good that might do.

No idea why some venues have ear splitting sound levels. It makes the show so uncomfortable for me.

As far as story line goes, I think sometimes you have to let it go and just take in the visuals. It is kind of like a song that sounds really nice but the lyrics go no where.

"The Gift" on Anthem is a good example.

I remember people saying that they "don't get it". I was happy just with the visuals....

100% agree with you and OB ( @Ocean Boy)

How about a few more totally random, useful (or useless) things.

First of all, I see we are on page 13, so we need more posts to get off the unlucky number.  The ship does have a deck 13, if that would happen to be your lucky number.

Maybe a useful suggestion for masks, for anyone who wears BTEs.  My wife found these elastic bands for masks, so that you can just wear your mask around your neck, and pull it up when needed.  It keeps the mask handy.

The only thing is, she says it makes me look like a male stripper.  I wonder how she knows this?  This may have just answered my question about where she disappears to some days. 😀😂

We went up to Windjammers after a walk on the track this morning.  After eating there, I told Susan I was going to check out the Two70 cafe.

Since it is located aft, on deck 5, I never think about it until it is too late. It looks like they are usually open for breakfast and lunch.  Here are some of the breakfast items.

I guess this could be a form of food porn.

I think I could find something there.

Nice, I missed the rainbow today. I might have been running up to the bridge to tell the captain not to sail thru the rain. 😂😂

Here is the lovely Susan, all geared up and practicing the position.

Or maybe she was being held up and told to hand over her valuables, since I see they are in her hand.

And no, you don’t have to wear the mask in the wind tunnel.

I must admit, she did much better than me.  It must be because she is younger and more agile.

She even got a little height in her flight

We were both surprised at the noise, even with ear plugs, and the force of the wind

Like anything, I guess practice would make perfect.

It was a fun way to start the day.

Have done it on Anthem, when it was free for all...

Got good marks from the "instructor". It was a very loooong minute, didn't enjoy the hard wind on me [1st from left].

YMMV 😉

We were sitting, literally stage left when Cruise Director Mike walks over to fist bump ( or maybe it was to take a swing at me 😂😂) and he says “I have been enjoying reading your blog this week.”   Which, in other words means - write nice things about me.

There was also a cruise director from Ontario named Mike Hunnerup, if I spelled that correctly. If he is Canadian it wouldn’t have been a swing. 😁

As for your previous question in the review about Mitch, his home town is 20 minutes from my place. It you have Canadian Mike right now, his hometown is about an hour away to the north of me.

It was nice, because it was just the two of us.  This is typically a pay day, but it was part of the deal from our rescheduled excursion.

I neglected to mention that they weigh you before you fly. I guess it is to calibrate how much wind they need

All I know is that from that weigh in, I have some weight to lose after this week. 🤣🤣

Is I Fly a pay activity now? I thought that they only charged on the Orient cruises.

On port days it is free, but all the available slots for the week will be booked up on the first day.  If you want to do it on a sea day, it is $49/ per person.

Mamajuana is a spiced alcoholic drink made by infusing rum, red wine, and honey along with tree bark and herbs.  It supposedly originated  in the Dominican Republic in the 1950's invented by Jesus Rodriguez.   It tastes kind of like port wine. Suppose to have medicinal benefits

For me....all of the piped in music all over the ship is way too loud as well.    Always wonder if they think we are all deaf!!  😱

Lucky Bucky can take his hearing aids out when he needs to.  😉

Take it as a compliment.  It would take a lot more than a mask with an elastic strap to make me look like a male stripper.

Is this on all Royal ships or just the Odyssey?
