Can anyone confirm whisky available in complimentary drinks menu please.

It always has been, was Famous Grouse

It was Cutty Sark for quite while and many were very unhappy with it

Thanks for replies uktog/Grandma Cruising.  I was one of the many unhappy with Cutty Sark 🤢  😥. Was hoping they had changed it to Grouse as I thought it was mentioned in another thread some time ago as a possible alternative/addition to list.  Fingers crossed that they may have changed it for my next cruise.

That’s good news.  Thank you for confirming.

It was Cutty Sark in September maybe they were using up old stock - DH dived straight for the package as a result

Indeed it was Famous Grouse on Quest for the holiday cruise in Dec / Jan, enjoyed it.

On Pursuit, they are still using the mixed menus in PrimeC/Aqualina but have added a special main course for each restaurant (you can have either wherever you're dining).

Last night they added an additional dessert as a special too.

Things are gradually changing, giving more choice.

We just got back from our 8 day Spanish intensive on Pursuit. It was the first passenger cruise since Covid. There was a prior shakedown cruise right before us but it was not paying customers.
The trip was fabulous.
Food was better than I remembered with some lighter options in Discoveries for dinner. I particularly enjoyed a prosciutto wrapped piece of fish over risotto and also a lightly seared piece of tuna entree. Our meal in Prime C was excellent and my fillet was perfect. The menu in Prime C is a lot more constrained than I remembered but what we had was good. the lunches at the buffet were also good with interesting composed salads such as spicy Thai pork salad, Greek Salad etc. I particularly enjoyed the luncheon soups which had excellent flavor. Desserts as always were decadent.
Tanya the cruise director has assembled a top notch group of performers on board. The band Lucky Cham is a talented group of South American musicians. The lead singer is a charming young woman with a phenomenal voice. All the other musicians, singers and dancers were great and gave lively performances. The flamenco dancers who came aboard in Seville were really incredible and seemed very authentic. It was quite the experience. White Nights had to be moved indoors due to the weather but it was still a lot of fun.
Boarding was somewhat slow but the facilities at Lisbon were rather small so it wasn’t easy to process so many people but it went as well as could be expected. I heard that 4 individuals did not pass the pre boarding Covid test which must have been very disappointing for them. My husband and I did not have a pre boarding visit in Lisbon like we usually would just so we could avoid any pre cruise exposure. The cleaning protocols are robust so it takes longer to turn the rooms around. We had a very charming welcome aboard by a group of managers and crew. Then a brief safety lecture and we were escorted to our rooms to pick up our keys.
I want to give a special shout out to Heike who is the hotel director, to Tanya the cruise director, and to Lee who is the assistant cruise director. Heike had the ship in first class order with sparkling customer service from her entire team. The staff were glad to be back at work and they treated the guests with impeccable service. Tanya was vivacious and energetic and Lee was always thinking about how to make the guest experience better.
If you have enjoyed Azamara in the past, you will not be disappointed in your return. We had a great time and it seems like our fellow passengers enjoyed their trip as much as we did. Thank you Azamara!!!

I will echo what Killin Time posted. Ship was in great shape, crew were all doing their best to please. Only real issue was internet accessibility and connection reliability. Ship was roughly at 50% capacity which meant we never had a problem getting a seat for lunch after an excursion. Gibraltar and Valencia were my favourite ports. Weather was a little disappointing but didn’t dampen (sorry) our enthusiasm.

Onboard Quest now. Famous Grouse is the bottle in our room. We have had a wonderful cruise. This was our first Azamara cruise and we have already booked another!

On our Quest cruise a couple of weeks ago the Famous Grouse was a full fifth as they had run out of the smaller bottles!

On the current Quest voyage ( the not Morocco trip) Azamara rolled out their boutique wines.   There are 9 wines-- 4 reds, 4 white, and a Rose -- that are available every meal ( can't really say about breakfast...).   We were told that there would be other wines available each day, but have not seen them.   Some of them have been good/OK, some not so much.   Not sure this is the solution to the issue that many CC posters have about wine quality, but it is what it is...

So are these the wines generally served to everyone or only if one opts for the upgraded package?

Never mind, I answered my own question. These are pretty basic, inexpensive wines that are available to everyone.

 Nope!  That’s not the solution!

Seems like they are "testing" the wines since the info at the top of the list asks for feedback.  I love the idea of a printed list in general.  It makes it easy to at least know the choices.

I agree that It is encouraging that they are “testing”.
Maybe the selections will evolve……

I much prefer being able to choose my wine from a list rather than having to quiz each waiter on "what are the red/white wines today ?", but I am sure I recognise some of those wines and I certainly didn't rate them very highly.

It seems that the system may have changed but the wine hasn't.
