Where Can I find What's in the Coupon Book

I don't use a smart phone or app on board so where will I be able to see what's in the coupon book. Will it be on the TV?

Type in "bogo" into the search box, select "this forum" underneath the search box.  I get 176 results with what you're looking for at the top.  This is on a desktop...

Did that TY. The only discussion in all those posts is about the elimination of the BOGO specialty restaurant not anything else. I'm curious what's actually in these new and "improved" coupon books!

Sorry I wasn't able to help you much.  The one item that *most* people found was the only item of any real value was a (free?) specialty dinner on the first night of the cruise.  But...people have recently stated that this has been eliminated.  There were all kinds of minor offers for %off at Effy and similar offers for T-shirts & such.  We never did find anything that really appealed to us.

 

Also...other threads have alluded that the coupon book is now only available if you book through a TA and it is emailed.

I previously used the BOGO casino coupon and was wondering if that was still there.  I used a Princess cruise planner and got the books attached to my booking which is next month.

No the coupon book won’t be on the TV.  Your later post mentioned you booked through a PVP. They should send you the digital coupon book to print at home, or perhaps you can get them to print it and mail to you?  Others have mentioned that they were able to go to Guest Services once onboard to have it verified that their booking has the coupon book and ask to have the coupons printed out (YMMV).

Hopefully these pictures will post. They are of the coupon book guest services just printed for me. I never get the email so I just ask for it to be printed. My PVP matched an offer from another travel agency so gave me OBC and coupon book for the Jan 6 to 16 sailing on the Ruby.

wow - I must have the wrong PVP ( PRINCESS Vacation Planner ) if yours was able to match a TA's offer ... even with OBC

 

I got an upgraded cabin ( balcony to deluxe balcony )  for a price drop after final, but ... that was all internal

Thanks for posting the new coupon book.  I don't imagine it will change much for 2022.  Makes me think "Move along now - nothing to see here".

 

I guess I don't care if I ever get one again.  I have already read more than once that the free wine at SD restaurant is not at all worth chasing.  And I imagine to get the $10 free play at casino, you have to make a single $20 bet - and who knows when you can time that?

I doubt that I have received a coupon book even once in my last 10 Princess cruises.  The only thing I would use is the casino free play, but $10?  The casino gives me $200 to $400 free play when I book the cruise.  The casino also gives me free chocolate covered strawberries, so I don't need the coupon for that.

 

A free haircut if I subject myself to a 55 minute shave???  The guy in the photo looks like he needs a 55 minute shave!  But for me, no, thanks!

Yes, I had a real laugh at that shave thing.  I was wondering if it was a full-body shave.  I mean how could it take an hour to shave a face?  And what's with the 55 minutes?  Why 5 short of an hour?  Seems like selling something for $9.95 and then trying to convince me it doesn't cost $10. 

 

I used to like the free BJ Tournament entry play which was worth $20.  

 

At least coming in an email, we don't have to add to the paper trash.

@Steelers36we used the free wine coupon in Crooners on 2 sailings…..the one I’m currently on (my live from has a pic and comment about it) and in November.  We really liked it.

@voljeepit was mid August when @CruiseRaideradvised me of a major sale by a large TA. I sent my PVP screen shots of the promotional OBC and coupon books specific to the bookings I had made with him. I had 10 bookings with him at the time and he got coupon books attached to all of them and the additional refundable OBC amounted to $3000 over all 10 cruises. 
 

while he has also done amazing things for me after final payment none of these 10 were after final.

Just wondering if anyone noticed the expiration date of the coupon book, Dec. 31, 2021.  That makes it worthless.  I got 2 of them for my Jan 31st 2022 Regal cruise just a few days ago.  Thanks a lot Princess.  😉

I didn’t notice the date and it didn’t matter. The coupon was honored. My travel summary shows I have a coupon book and the HW at Crown could see it on his screen when I checked in for my reservation.  
 

I honestly might use one of the port day spa massage coupons tomorrow…who knows? I’m having such a great vacation and love not having plans.

I received it for the trip we cancelled.  Our TA gave it to both of us in the cabin. The fine print for many of the coupons said "one  per cabin per voyage".  So having two for the cabin was pointless as well.

We're on the Sky Princess Feb 5 and received the coupon book last week on Jan 12.   It was emailed to us from Princess.  It says the coupons expire Dec 31 2021.  ha ha.    It's like the photos previously posted by @HaveDogWillTravel

According to the coupon book, it's $20 total; not in one bet.

 

$10 in Casino free play when you spend $20.

 

That's the only noteworthy coupon in the entire book.

I agree with last sentence.  So, it seems if I buy $20 in chips I can get another $10 free play.  Perhaps I could parlay that into real money.

I've never gotten one through email and just never bothered to go get one.  Since I had to go to the guest services desk, I asked what was in the coupon book and they printed one out for me.  I did use the $10 freeplay at the casino offer and can confirm you do not have to make a $20 single bet to use it.
