We were in a suite on Regal in February. First night dinner was comped in either Sabatini's or Crown Grill. Nice perk. I agree about the suite breakfast. It is a great way to begin the day. There was a Suite/Platinum and Elite lounge each night. Service was so poor we left. Two waiters for the entire room. You paid for your own drinks. This is not RCCL. We sailed many times on their ships and enjoyed their lounge.

In Sabatini's they check your stateroom number when you first enter for breakfast. No pax from non suites were allowed in.

so when you sailed with RCCL; you paid for drinks in the lounge or were they complimentary?  Cheers

Does anyone know what the dining perks are for Club Class Mini-suite. Is it just dinner that has a separate dining area, Any other perks?

Thanks

Perks? Not really.

There's not much besides the bathtub.

There's a bottle of bubbly, but it's not good for much (we dumped it down the drain). Some mix a mimosa (guess that hides the taste).

Priority boarding? If you're Elite, you already get that.

Drinks in the concierge lounge during happy hour were complimentary. You could also have comped drinks at any bar during this time. If I remember correctly, the number of drinks was 3 or 4.

That might have changed as we have not sailed with RCCL for a few years-made a switch to other lines such as Azamara and Princess.

We had the drink package but this is from the welcome letter the Concierge sent us prior to sailing in February: "In the Suite Lounge, coffee and tea are available between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm. Each evening, between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm, hors d'oeuvres, petit fours and complimentary wine, spirits, beer, and soft drinks are available for our Suite guests." Sounds like free drinks to me!

Do those drinks count against the 15 you are allowed on the Princess Plus package

The letter you're referencing is from Royal Caribbean. Not Princess.

Princess concierge lounge has a one hour wine cocktail hour - three different wines and a sparkling available by the glass.  Otherwise, no booze free for suites (beyond the small mini-bar setup)...

Ooops a little confusion here. I was responding to the question about Royal Caribbean. I have never received a welcome letter from the Princess Concierge. I never really went to the Princess Concierge Lounge except to grab some of those yummy cookies. From what I remember there were no free drinks in the Princess lounge. Again, I was not there often so perhaps someone else can chime in.

So why is this in the Princess board ?

Thanks for the info.  Sad no free cocktails, was a perk I was looking forward to.

We just returned from Majestic on Saturday.  Sailed in suite in December .  Both Concierge Lounges

offered cocktails from 4:30 to around 8:30.  We always were able to get anything we wanted.  I have

never had any other service so I am a little confused when some say no cocktails or just beer and wine.

"Both concierge lounges"??

There's only one Concierge Lounge in Princess. Where is the other one??

There's also the Elite/Platinum/Suite event every evening held in a specific lounge with discounted drinks and a rotating list of hors d'ouvres. Is this what you're referring to as the "other" concierge lounge?

The comments about a concierge lounge having free cocktails during specific hours is Royal Caribbean..(and Celebrity for that matter) They're frequent cruiser lounge event includes free drinks from a specific list, while their suite concierge lounge includes a much wider range of free drinks, etc.   Entirely different than Princess..

On Regal Princess recently - for one hour (5-6pm), there was free wine from 3-4 choices in the Concierge Lounge on Riviera deck.

The PES event was held in either Club 6 or Vista depending on occupancy of entire sailing (over 1000 it was in Vista, under it was in Club 6). Same 6-8 discounted drinks of past years, $6.95 instead of $8.95 or so.. stilton wheel, sushi, beef tartare, crudites, etc.

by both lounges I meant the lounge on each cruise.  We are also Elite and I am not referring to the

Elite Lounge.  This lounge was on Riveria deck and only for the full suites onboard.  The waiters got us any cocktail we wanted.

If you had Princess Plus did the drinks count against your 15 drinks or did the even take your medallion or folio number?

No one ever asked if we had a drink package - Coffee machine was available all day, breakfast nibbles

put out very early, lunch fare ( small sandwiches, small salads, etc.) and then cocktail food (cheese and crackers, etc) during drink hours.  Guests were getting Dirty Bananas, Mojitos, cognacs - anything

you wanted. All the Concierge staff knew was that we were suite guests.

Thanks!  This is the reason I upgraded from the Vista Suite to this Penthouse, we wanted to be closer to this specific lounge for snacks and the evening drinks.

So it seems you get free entry to the thermal suites on the grand ships where available , however the equivalent on the Royal class ships is the enclave but entry is not included?

Correct

We were escorted to our suite on the CB in 2018 (which was great because the boarding line was long thanks to a Coast Guard scheduled inspection) and on the Grand last October.  We received the complementary dinner on the Grand,  even though it was only 4 nights.  Maybe because there were so few passengers.

There are some nice perks to being in a suite.  quiet breakfast in crown grill or sabatini's. club class dining;  although Princess should look at other cruise lines and have a dedicated dining room for suite guests. They should also follow Royal Caribbean's lead and have reserved seating at the theater and the pool for suite guests.  All in all its fun
