1st thing you do boarding?

Recommended Posts

Make show reservations while walking towards muster, up to activities to sign waiver forms for Flowrider, lunch at Wiindjammer or Park cafe if available, check out room, first drink (always Grey Goose cosmo!) usually at pub with selfie to send to my brother to rub it in just like @wikoffclan

There will be 6 of us this trip, with my son, his wife and 6 yo daughter.  Plan is to book our entertainment while in the terminal, then we will head to the Windjammer first for lunch, on to the MDR to try and get better dining times, then muster and on to the cabins.

Yup, Always first thing and first there. Was at Station before Crew couple weeks ago...

On last cruise on EX....handing card to check in agent on ship, he quickly pointed out our muster crew station was just down the deck.   Was great to get it over with before even entering the ship.  🙂

Grab a drink at the Schooner Bar, head to the MDR to check on table location, then WJ for a bite and end up on the pool deck to relax and wait for the rooms to open.  (and fit booking entertainment in the App and checking in at our Muster Station somewhere in that mix)

Oh, and letting the stress of the days before boarding drain away.....

put towels on chairs by the pool for Day 2 and wander about with our giant carryons in the Windjammer. Just kidding.

Usually now we board later.  Go to our room, do muster, unpack.  Set up wifi.   Get signed off on muster.  Grab something from anyplace but Windjammer as we hate that embarking lunch and disembarking breakfast.  Make reservations if needed.  Go to gym and run for an hour.  Shower, nap, check out Diamond club for 30 seconds then dinner.

Smiles will returned! 🤣

Enjoy and let loose you’ll never ever see these people again 😇

LOL! That was the mantra my mom and I had on our last cruise, "We'll never see these people again." It helped to remind us that it was ok to re-wear the same outfit, take part in silly games, etc.

I drop off my bag as soon as possible, tour the ship if I haven't been on it before, grab a snack wherever it's not a madhouse and then grab a glass of bubbly for a sail away toast.

good laughs..

Shot of tequila absolute 1st thing, then a Daq for my wife and me, then she books all shows as we start people watching, then pool for another drink and lunch, add the muster in there somewhere, stateroom to unpack, a nappies the good kind ;oP, walk around, then maybe a real nap, up get ready for our pre Din cocktail/proseco/wine then Din, then Casino, 1st day!

Pretty much clockwork!

The very first thing we di is stop so I can take a video of my wife standing underneath the ships clock on the embarkation deck.

I thought that was Jack under the clock....oh that's right...wrong ship, wrong time.  😄

First bar and a drink followed by the first restaurant to book any reservations, a spot of lunch followed by a few more drinks/cocktails. Drop carry on bags at the cabin and a walk around the ship stopping off at a few bars to sample their wares! Relax and chill knowing we are on a cruise for the next so many days and not have a care in the world.

Usually a drink in the first bar/café I see (coffee or alcoholic). To celebrate that all the cumbersome activities are over.

Next a walk around the ship to figure out where everything is. Especially if I'm cruising on an unknown to me ship or with a new cruiser. Preferably after I get rid of my carry on in the stateroom.
