I ordered the D+ fruit & cheese plate on Jewel last month. The cheese came in the form of two whole camemberts (for just me). Don’t get me wrong, I love camembert, but it stank the cabin out! I left it out on the balcony in the end as it took me 4 days to get through it all!

Their "Loyalty" program makes me laugh. Spend all that money and cruise X amount of times...and we'll give you a can of pop "each"

Spend even more and get a six pack each vs single can.

This - although to be fair the “bottle of water” was actually 5 cans on my last cruise.

I am Diamond.  For my upcoming cruise:

We saved $200 on the booking

My wife and I will get 8 free drinks a day (value=$101 per day x 8 days = $808)

We will get our 2 free photos for our collection ($40)

Just those alone are over $1000 in benefits.

I'm laughing all the way to the bank.

Let's see the guy next to me isn't Diamond.

He pays $200 more than I did for the cruise.

He pays for his drinks.

All things being equal, yes he would tell me they are free.

Yup, Loyalty pays.  😉

There is no guarantee you will get these extras in the future....so we enjoy them and appreciate them while we have them, as RCI shows their appreciation for our repeat business.  Nothing wrong with that.  🥰

Thanks for the laugh. And I would have thought, Captain America and Wonder Woman would have been given your choice of an energy drink. 😂

But how many cruises and thousands of $$$ to get those "free" items. Nothing is free...

I received a whole (pie sized) Camembert in my cabin once and made the mistake of putting it in the fridge. Came back that evening and opened the fridge door and almost passed out. The fridge smelled like butt crack the rest of the cruise. I ended up putting it in the trash can out by the elevator.

Like gamblers and their “free” casino offers.

I never consider it free, I consider it a perk. I have been cruising many years, to several continents, and I would cruise with or without perks. But if I can get some Wifi and drinks as a perk, I’m sure not going to say “No Thank You”.
