Thanks for sharing.

We have chosen which cruise we’d like to sail on and debated which cabin to book. The only problem is not knowing the prices. I wish they’d publish these a few days ahead so people could plan. I expect if we emailed our Princess cruise specialist, he wouldn’t have the information either. Difficult to book blind.

To be honest, the first 3 voyages seem to be incredibly pricey so start saving now!

Yes they definitely aren’t cheap. Hoping that’s because they’re the inaugural cruises and prices might be lower at the end of August. Not holding my breath though.

Bear in mind those are "lead" pricing for lowest letter code of the category meta - IF, DF, MF, etc

Was "maybe" thinking of the fall Transatlantic in place of Canada/NE for 2024, but at those prices I'll be waiting a hot minute, or three, to get on the Sun!  OUCH - those prices will burn ye!!!!!!!!

Will other ships and 2024 itineraries be released at the same time as the Sun?

If the Sun itineraries have been posted, what about the other itineraries yet?

No, they wont because the Sun itineraries have already been publicised.  On 8 November all the European itineraries will be publicised.

Yes.  Remember that the info we are getting on the Sun Princess 2024 is general info, and not full itinerary details.  Europe 2024, including the Sun Princess (except for this early inaugural sailings) are not on the web-site, and are not available for booking.  We are lucky to get a sneak peak!

I imagine that all of Europe 2024 will be finalized, announced, and become available for booking at the same time. Hopefully soon!

There used to be a lovely poster that used to provide them before they were available to book. I found it really useful especially to see what the itineraries were like.  I hope they still have access to do it. I was forever thankful for them. Allowed me to plan and be organised when booking time came around.

Usaually Princess supplies travel agents with itinerary information 10-14 days in advance of a deployment launch. With them wanting to push the Sun I’m assuming on 11/8 we will only get her European voyages, and later in the month we will get details on the rest of Europe and/or Alaska which should go on sale (hopefully) just before Thanksgiving in time for Cyber Week

Your post got me thinking about how to most efficiently use our current FCDs. My DW and I each have 2. We won’t be on another Princess cruise until next July. When Princess hopefully releases their 2024 Europe and/or Alaska cruises, we plan on booking one European B2B and one Alaska B2B.

Here are some questions which you may or may not know the answers:

1. Can we use my 2 FCDs to book one of the B2Bs, 1 on each cruise, and my DW’s 2 FCDs to book the other B2B, and avoid applying any additional deposit funds?

2. When we go on our July 2023 cruise and buy more FCDs, can we then each add FCDs to those Europe and Alaska bookings so that each of us will have one on each cruise and get the additional FDC OBC added to those existing bookings?

1. Can we use my 2 FCDs to book one of the B2Bs, 1 on each cruise, and my DW’s 2 FCDs to book the other B2B, and avoid applying any additional deposit funds?  FCD cover the deposit requirement for the passenger named on the deposit. As deposit requirements are per passenger you would need to pay the required deposit for the other passenger who is not using an FCD.

2. When we go on our July 2023 cruise and buy more FCDs, can we then each add FCDs to those Europe and Alaska bookings so that each of us will have one on each cruise and get the additional FDC OBC added to those existing bookings?  FCD can be applied any time prior to making final payment.  If booking was confirmed with deposit previously they act like a pay, ent. While each passenger can apply more than one FCD to a booking the OBC associated for the FCD only will be applied once per passenger and is automatic based on length of sailing/room type
