Eden on Apex ?

We recently had dinner at Eden on the Beyond .

The entire experience was wonderful.

The server told us they have changed the menu from the original concept on the Edge which did not really interest us.

Does anyone know if the menu at Eden is similar to the revised menu on the Beyond?

The Apex has the newer menu, not the original menu.

This is correct.  The original menu on the Edge had much more limited choices.  We thoroughly enjoyed Eden on Apex in April.  Excellent food and service.  Some tables are placed so that you almost get the "show kitchen" effect as you can watch prep & cooking.

We were sat near the show kitchen on our recent Apex cruise. Eden was beyond fabulous. Loved it. Would go back on Apex just for Eden.

Does that mean the "White fish in a plastic bag" on Edge was replaced? 🤔

We tried Eden on Edge and it was... interesting. We definitely had a much different experience than others, including the table next to us. The dishes were pretty so-so as well, but it may have been just our server. He basically just walked up and asked what we wanted, didn't explain the "magic" menus nor did we even have the paintbrushes to use them. We also clarified my wife's allergy (shrimp) multiple times, including our butler passing on the info, and our waiters response was to still bring out a prawn dish for each of us. When we mentioned the allergy again, he just replied "More for him!" and walked away.. 🤣

Maybe we'll need to try it again on the Beyond..

You should, it was excellent.  I suggest you book early.  We booked the cruise late, and had a hard time getting reservations.  Eden has become one of, if not the most popular specialty restaurants on the ship.  😊

We liked Le Voyage on the Beyond even better than Eden.  it is more expensive but a great meal in a small quiet venue.

We liked both.  But, Eden was more popular.  Maybe because Le Voyage was more expensive. 😎

Eden on Apex was probably one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Food was excellent and the service the same.  I booked it three times on my upcoming Beyond cruise.  I may cancel one of the three, but knew it would sell out (easier to cancel than try to book when full)   🙂

How things have changed from the Edge.  We were on the Edge when it just was entered into Celebrity service.  Eden was a joke- characters bringing you food and acting like this was a disney ship.  Food not great.  Glad to hear that it has been revised.  Going on Apex soon and will try it.

It was not even that in Feb 2020. It was AMAZING!

We were on the Edge about a month ago and tried Eden.  The meal and service were spectacular, the best of all our dinners, and we tried each and every restaurant except for Raw on Five.  If I had known how good it was, I would have booked it at least twice.  Our least favorite dinners were at Blu and Cosmopolitan.

Yes, all Edge-Class Eden Restaurants, including Edge, have the updated menu and not the original Edge menu.

had the Lobster Casserole and no idea why they call it that. It is a tower of lobster claws. Fantastic. The crab cake is pure crab with a very minor binder. Again fantastic. Excellent service.

dined on Edge in ‘19 and enjoyed the experience but it was exotic. The ‘characters’ interacted w us but weren’t waitstaff.

dined again on Edge in 2022 and new menu and no ‘characters’. Did Alex in ‘21 and same.

It sounds like some things have changed on Edge for the good.  The Eden actors were very talented but did not have a coherent show.  They had some good AGT talent, but whoever designed the show/act did not design a good show.  For our early cruise the show was very "cheesy" and sophomoric.

We tried EDEN on EDGE pre-covid and will now be on EDGE again in February and would like to try the "new" menus. Hoping someone can share a link or photo of the menu.

The menus should be on your app. They are for our March Apex cruise.

Agree and since it is new, small and only on the Beyond not many commenting on it.
