zitsky Posted March 17, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2023 I’ve heard of polo. I’ve heard of Jersey. What’s a polo type jersey? BTW if you search there is some information about the dress code.

Just came back from Antarctica on the Infinity and saw shorts regularly in the MDR. Hoody's and T Shirts. In the Oceanview on our TransPacific last year - slippers - dressing gown - flip flops and speedos See it all

39august Posted March 17, 2023 #8 Share Posted March 17, 2023 No tank top in any inside dining venue. But would be OK at the Mast Grill. No shorts in the main dining room at dinner. My husband wears what I call polo shirts all the time at dinner in Luminae and specialty restaurants. They are pull on but do have a collar. You are arguing about something that is meaningless On my last Celebrity cruise at dinner we observed: Shorts Swimwear Wet coverups- assume over a wet swimsuit Muscle shirts T-shirts with racial, profane and political messages Sweatpants Bare feet About all I can say is everyone wore clothing. Nobody topless - male or female We refused to be seated with a male with what my DW felt was a rude t-shirt. Movin on.

jelayne Posted March 18, 2023 #13 Share Posted March 18, 2023 What ship was that? The only item I have seen on your list at dinner in any restaurant or dining room were shorts on the first night. The Oceanview is a different story. We did see a 2 guys in dirty profane muscle shirts at the Martini bar 1 night, they were there about 10 minutes before a officer came and spoke to them and they left.

CruisersTimesThree Posted March 18, 2023 #15 Share Posted March 18, 2023 Celebrity’s dress code is on their website. Why don’t people look there first before posting on an internet message board where they will get 100 different answers? 1

Have seen all of that in the buffet area but outside there have never seen any of the above in the MDR or Luminae at dinner. Lunch is much more relaxed everywhere. Or lunch in the buffet? I've seen that at lunch in OVC and although Im on Team shorts and tank tops, wet bathing suits and bare feet are not cool in the OVC. I agree 65 cruises and have never seen this not even on Carnival. What is the onboard dress code? Formal Night gets a modern reboot. Say goodbye to Formal Night, and hello to Evening Chic. It’s your time to shine—your way. Get glamorous. Get chic. Be sophisticated. Now, on up to two nights on every cruise, Evening Chic activities have been introduced, and Evening Chic attire has replaced Formal attire. While dressier than Smart Casual, Evening Chic is intended to be less dressy than Formal attire. Women should feel comfortable wearing: A cocktail dress Skirt, pants or designer jeans with an elegant top Men should feel comfortable wearing: Pants or designer jeans with a dress shirt, button-down shirt or sweater Optional sport coat or blazer Evening Chic means that you can get glamorous and be sophisticated in your own way. If you would like to still wear a tuxedo or formal gown on Evening Chic nights, you absolutely should. All cruises that are 7 nights or longer will feature two Evening Chic nights. Any cruise 6-nights or shorter will feature one Evening Chic night. All other nights of the cruise will feature Smart Casual attire. Celebrity Xpedition will continue to feature casual attire for the entire cruise. Smart Casual attire can be enjoyed every other night of your cruise. Women should feel comfortable wearing: Skirt, pants or jeans with a casual top Men should feel comfortable wearing: Pants or jeans with a short sleeve sport shirt. Note: T-shirts, swimsuits, robes, bare feet, tank tops, baseball caps and pool wear are not allowed in the main restaurant or specialty restaurant at any time. Shorts and flip-flops are not allowed in the evening hours. The dress code will be enforced at all restaurants. And guests are asked to follow the Smart Casual or Evening Chic dress code in the Celebrity Theater for all evening performances. The daily program, delivered to your stateroom and available at the Guest Relations Desk, will be your guide to the correct attire each evening. 1
