You'll see it at the bottom of the Luminae main menu, not the dessert menu. It's definitely one of my favorites (right up there with Grand Marnier souffle in Murano). I've seen photos of this from one of our fellow CC members. It looks amazing!!!!

Rtowncruiser Posted May 5, 2023 #29 Share Posted May 5, 2023 They usually offer it one night on a 7 night cruise.. Chocolate lava cake with coffee crunch ice cream and a slice of carmelized banana.. Heaven!
blade3 Posted May 5, 2023 #30 Share Posted May 5, 2023 On Apex, the brownies in Eden cafe! Also there was a special dessert every day in the Oceanview at lunch.
Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted May 5, 2023 #31 Share Posted May 5, 2023 1) Desserts from specialties 2) Gelato 3) If on the E-Class, Eden cafe cookies and brownies 4) Ice Cream X has never been known for their baked goods which tend to be extremely bland...If you close your eyes, you might not be able to tell which cake is chocolate and which is vanilla

Rare horseymike Posted May 6, 2023 #33 Share Posted May 6, 2023 I agree. On this recent Summit cruise we actually sampled several of the desserts pictured, I must say , they were quite good 😊.

I understand the need…but the taste and texture suffer. Give me a shot of Bailey’s! I agree. I'm a baker. Rare CTSandy Posted May 6, 2023 #35 Share Posted May 6, 2023 They have pot du crème that I love - I think it’s just called chocolate pot and a cafe pot (coffee flavored). Also a fan of crème brûlée and cherries jubilee. I am not really fond of their cake desserts.
bigbenboys Posted May 6, 2023 #36 Share Posted May 6, 2023 The chocolate orb in Luminae. I have not seen in it on the menu in over a year.

We had it in Luminae on Equinox at the end of March, first of April. I’ve been in Luminae a few times and this was the first time! My favs though, are the ricotta cheesecake in Luminae, gelato and sorbets, Eden Chico chip cookie and brownies and the ice cream and warm cookie in Lawn Club
Rare Ken the cruiser Posted May 6, 2023 #38 Share Posted May 6, 2023 For those looking for gluten free desserts after dinner, head up to the OVC. My DW is finding quite the assortment on our current cruise on the Eclipse!
miched Posted May 6, 2023 #39 Share Posted May 6, 2023 (edited) Wind pudding and air sauce 🤗. Very few taste as good as they look. Mostly sweet with no flavor. As others wrote not worth the calories. Go to the Martini Bar and get a Desert Martini. 🍸 Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅 Edited May 6, 2023 by miched

Both the brownie and chocolate chip cookie at Eden cafe were better than any dessert from the MDR. Gelato in OVC was the only thing else memorable.
phoenix_dream Posted May 6, 2023 #43 Share Posted May 6, 2023 My all time favorite is the crepes in Murano. For everyday desserts, I go for the creme brule. It's considered a "classic" so available every night in the standard (i.e., not specialty) restaurants.

The basic chocolate cake from the "always available" section on the MDR menu (and also offered in Blu and Luminae) is delicious. But my favorite is the flaming sphere on the Luminae menu.
