Can I see my muster station well in advance?

On the app, I was looking at the “explore the ship” diagrams and noticed that in addition to restrooms, I could identify “muster station”.  It only shows one, even if I switch to a different deck it takes me back to the same spot.  Captains’s Circle loyalty desk is where it takes me every time.  Will that be our muster station?  If so, can I check in on my way up to my cabin (or lunch or the bar, depending on when we embark)?

Yes, you can check in at your muster station first. As you check in with security when you first board, ask them for your muster location. Watch the video at a bar, eatery or anywhere.

Super easy.

We have a routine lol.  We always stop at Good Spirits as soon as we board then go to the Muster station and then to our cabin to watch the video and unpack.

The old app it was very easy to find the location, not sure where it is on the new one but if its there I'll find it before our next cruise.

No. The muster stations are in dining areas, lounges/bars, the theater. On ships I have been on before, I know where the station is for my cabin. I pass by there on the way to the cabin and check in, if they are open. Then up to the room to unpack, while the video is playing. On the back of the door, will show you where your station will be.

I've had my muster station be in the art gallery which was difficult for anyone to needed to sit while waiting for it to start. That clearly was pre covid.

Nothing says “Muster Station” like a print of an olive sliding down a piano leg!

Pre-Covid we frequently mustered in the casino. In a real emergency that would be ridiculous. Presumably when the emergency arose, the casino could very likely be open, with money and chips all over the place. Then, all of a sudden, the people in the casino whose muster station was elsewhere would have to leave in a panic, while several hundred other people would be coming in. No telling what would happen to the chips and cash. A recipe for chaos.

Reading this thread it appears we can't identify the location of our muster station until we are on board.  Am I wrong?

Well, I'll be on board in 6 days and my app shows exactly what @BamaVol showed....meaning it doesn't identify the location. .

That, um, seems rather stupid, especially since your muster station is linked to your room assignment and the tech to link the two and show it on the app is rudimentary.  It shouldn't be a mystery.

(Yeah, I know I'll ask a crew member once on board.  It's not the end of the world, just puzzling).

Let me try a slightly better shot. It clearly indicates with icon and print that my muster station is the captains circle loyalty desk. It looks odd and it might change. But that life preserver is pointing to a location. Does anyone show something different or is that a placeholder we all see until on board?

And if I do have to abandon ship, at least there are a couple bars handy for what might be my last drink.

And it looks like mine is at Alfredo’s Pizzeria, maybe I can grab a slice or two to have on the lifeboat.😏

I just checked the app. I don't even have a room assignment for my May 4 sailing on the Enchanted Princess and it too is showing the Captain's Circle desk as my muster station. So, I am assuming that is just a default until the app populates with your actual station.

That was the same for our 27 March Enchanted cruise. Once onboard our muster station check in was on deck 7, starboard side, entrance to the Princess Theater.

As a general rule the location of the muster station is often on the promenade deck except where the theatre is involved which has an upper and lower section over two decks.  The allocation is roughly divided on how far forward, midships or aft your cabin is located. The most forward cabins typically have the theatre as muster station A. Whereas extreme aft cabins might be allocated F (if there are six station) and be located at the lounge which is nearest the stern.  All the other allocations are in between to try and make a mass move to stations most efficient with the minimum of lateral travel with streams of people walking past each other. I think your muster station is likely below where your cabin is situated. Is the Captain's Circle loyalty area consistent with this?

Our last cruise showed Alfredo's but when we boarded, it was actually the dining room

Mine shows Crooners. which is strange as I have aft cabin

Same here!  I just checked ours and we are aft as well and it shows Crooners.  We usually get an aft cabin and have never had muster in Crooners.  It's usually the Vista or whatever rear lounge is on the particular ship.

Apparently once the muster alarm goes off ( 7 short blasts, one long) only the premier package is still active, plus isn't.
