She never takes the larger broader view of the traveling public into consideration and just writes from her own, one sided opinion. I think you've just defined a blog - which is what she calls it. "Royal Caribbean Blog". Like here at CC, you take or leave a blog / influencer, understanding that it's 100% opinion piece. I haven't ready any of her work on the unfairness of living as a poor South American, though, so can't say what her 'non-blog' writing is like.

I've read enough of her blog work to find it very slanted and not helpful. She doesn't have enough cruise experience behind her to be a good reviewer on the subject. The conclusion was correct. RCCL is a better fit for that cruiser, and probably a great many from generations that require a lot of stimulation to feel more connected to the world. I am putting suggestions for less salt in the dining room food with each survey on Royal ships. Geezz...sometimes it's all you can taste. So why have salt shakers on the table at all??!! 😛

Available from almost every bar not just from one dedicated lounge. Also the brands vary by bar. Er like Canada Dry Ginger ale and usually pick it up at the Casino Bar. Usually get the water from Al Bacio as there we are most likely to be when Happy Hour starts.

People use Wifi for streaming moves and using social media and text messaging. I'm looking at 500 unread emails in my mail box now which will be deleted unread because they are all solicitations. Even my bills come via a text message now. Oh dear I hadn't realised that about emails🤣 CC notified me of your response by email. I book my cruises with my travel agent by email and she confirms it the same way. When I book my dining with X they confirm by email Yesterday I received emails from friends in the USA, Canada, and Australia, also from my Grandson in Texas. I have never streamed a movie. I am not on Facebook or any other social media platform. So yes the 240 minutes each we get is a very useful perk and far more flexible than the 2 days each we get on Royal. Choice is good

It maybe is not helpful to you but it might be for others. By the way, as for cruise experience, she has been on 20 cruises and is D+ on RCCL with now equivalent status on Celebrity.

But I like quality of writing over number of cruises. Maybe that always goes together but not always. With bloggers and influencers, I ask myself if they do what they do because they love it or because there is some financial incentive. I’m not saying money is wrong but it helps to know if money is a factor in what they recommend. There are well known travel sites that push certain products over others because they have financial incentives.
Rare PTC DAWG Posted August 20 #63 Share Posted August 20 I have sailed both lines a good bit…lowly Elite here…I always upgrade to premium drinks…yes, I think Celebrity is nicer, especially for the less kids aspect.. I prefer the size of the E Class much better than the larger ships that are so popular with Royal..no show reservations, just less crowded feel overall.. I think what bothers “some” Celebrity cruisers, are the Royal cruisers coming over here and wanting Celebrity to offer the exact same things as Royal..if you want Royal and their benefits sail Royal..

Agree 100%. We are D+ and E+ on each through points and not status match, although we did start off with 0 points and Elite on our first Celebrity sailing. 4 hours ago, PTC DAWG said: I prefer the size of the E Class much better than the larger ships that are so popular with Royal..no show reservations, just less crowded feel overall.. Celebrity S-class is our sweet spot. We normally sail in Suites on both lines and it's the superior food and service on Celebrity that has kept up coming back, although they have not just about priced themselves out of consideration for us. 4 hours ago, PTC DAWG said: I think what bothers “some” Celebrity cruisers, are the Royal cruisers coming over here and wanting Celebrity to offer the exact same things as Royal..if you want Royal and their benefits sail Royal.. I wish people would stop trying to make one cruise line more like another. You like ABC? Well go cruise on ABC. We have no kids but we like kids most of the time but not 24/7. That’s why we are on Celebrity not Viking or Virgin or Royal Caribbean or Disney. But also we don’t like pretentious people which is why we stay away from (rightly or wrongly) Regent, Oceania, Cunard and the like.
