  1. Nice to hear you enjoyed your adventure to NZ and Australia . Great you enjoyed mixing with us Colonials, come again.
  2. Downhill walk, easy 10 mins. I did it in September. Marriott checkout is 11am. Pic from my room at Marriott pre Coral Princess. Enjoy your cruise,
  3. I agree could well be water damage, it is not uncommon for faulty balcony doors to leak in heavy rain. As for the discarded towel animal that could well be a relic from the Princess days,
  4. I get what you mean. Yes Cunard and P & O UK have some excellent Brit ales and beers, Fullers London Pride, Old Speckled Hen, Boddingtons etc.🍺
  5. A shocker, rats, mice have made a mess. So much for the alleged deep clean. The media would love this.
  6. Uh, Barry, surely you jest 'We don't make beer in Australia?' Breweries galore.
  7. Julie, I will see how I go, I have some rough days and I have to go to the hospital once a week. Let you know a week or so before.
  8. Island Princess on its worldie has hit bad weather up north and cancelled Darwin stop.
  9. For you people on cruises stopping at Eden, they are making some cafes out of containers at the wharf. I might be going down there in a few weeks, will get a pic.
  10. The numbers must be up. The mask policy should have never been removed.
  11. Hi Chez, I am battling on, but not well. I meant to say Carnival Luminosa, all the domestic cruises have an aged passenger compliment.🤓 Enjoy the adventure.
  12. Chez, pity you had to hand in your 'appointments', they might have come in useful to combat the super old angry/rude pax on Majestic.🤣 Enjoy your adventure.
  13. Well the domestic cruises attract the demographic of very eldery and frail, no flights. Yes, some of us oldies get rude and cranky, thank goodness I do not. With an ever increaing aged population the attraction of domestic cruising will attract many super oldies.😷🤐
  14. Yong Barry Barry, same, wine is way overpriced on the ships, I am a De Bortoli man, decent wine for a decent price. Outreagous what the ships are charging.
  15. We have it in Batemans Bay, I walked it a few times, The Marina to Cbd and return, about 5 km. On every Saturday morning, they only get 50 or so. A good concept.
  16. Some places and ships sell wine in 250 glasses. The bigger the better is what I say.
  17. Will be following. I did the same cruise, BA to LA in 2014 on Golden Princess. Some great ports along the way. Above all, enjoy !!
  18. Thanks Geoff, helo was probably Carefight or Westpac Rescue. I wonder how many of these recent medivacs are very serious covid cases, a few I bet.😷
  19. But the National pies are not gluten free, not suitable for this full blown coeliac. However I have heard the National pies are a quality product. Now I know where all the Tassie Devils disappear to…National Pies factory.🤣
  20. Thanks for the best wishes. I am battling along, tired and lost weight but not resorted to slurping the bottle of morphine yet.😬
  21. The medivac off Wollongong would surely mean a late arrival into Brisvegas, Geoff?
  22. Indeed the pie thread has been going for 5 years, onwards pie eaters. I had one of these today, not bad. Pack of 2, frozen from Woolworths @ $8. No gf food is cheap.😢
