  1. Looking at signature of op ,no they have not cruised much, but she needs to leave out that’s she’s a travel agent in future posts. I know everyone has to start somewhere,but…..
  2. Yep, the op/ author has not returned to this thread. Perhaps it was just a question they were thinking about and moved on,it happens. As far a client- they could be a banker, a tax person, a business owner, etc.Client means so many things. Update-i just saw a post from a few days ago under Royal Princess and op says they are a travel agent & needs help,so that explains that now. Thread probably needs to be closed??
  3. Anyone have any information or photos for Emerald Princess. Cabin D735? There seems to be some sort of obstruction on that balcony cabin but not finding too many things by googling it
  4. Does anyone know -on Emerald Princess category B4 is there a sofa to sit on or just 1 desk chair? Thanks
  5. @dakaczno package any longer, just for coffee. But here are the prices. I believe these are current but they could have changed. In my opinion I don’t think the coffees are that expensive .so you actually might come out ahead unless you drink five of these a day but only you can determine if you need the Plus or premier package
  6. Well it looks like a very cool machine. Didn’t know that they allowed that type of electrical product on the ship. I’ve never even heard of Temu. Thanks.
  7. @calicakes What an ingenious product -that washing machine that you to brought on board. Is it battery operated or electric?
  8. @calicakes You posted a picture of somebody wearing shorts on board in line for the main dining room. Was that breakfast or lunch? If it was ,it’s usually OK at that time. But I guess if it was dinner on the first day like another poster said maybe they just didn’t have any luggage yet
  9. @kenthecruiser so glad to hear that the flourless chocolate cake is still “around”. M.D.R. Always had it on dessert menu first night of the cruise & I always ordered it. My favorite.
  10. Safe travels home to Arizona.🌵 Thanks for the arm chair cruising for me.
  11. @Ken the cruiser thanks for the Grapevine update, good information to know for reserve class, full suites, & Elites which I knew were complimentary.
  12. @Ken the cruiser Now you have a few of us curious. The Grapevine wine tasting that you see in the patter / event listing ,pretty sure that is a paid venue and elites complementary. Check it out for us. I’ve only been once as an elite and it was OK I don’t think ,I’d go otherwise .
  13. @Ken the cruiser I love reading your live from. I’ve never been in a suite, but I thought the wine tasting that was complementary was for elites, but sounds like it is also for full suite guests too. Enjoy, I tried it once.
  14. No longer complimentary at Alfredo’s with standard cruise fare. You do not need a package to enjoy the venue, just like your friend experienced. If you have a package - included . Slice pizzeria on one of the top decks is still complimentary by the slice. Alfredo’s is a whole, pretty good sized pizza.
  15. You might be surprised how many people win a suit and are compensated. Like I said , I had a friend that had an incident on a cruise ship and filed suit with a Maritime attorney and never had to go to court , never had to go to California-everything was done on the phone or video chat and was offered a settlement and took it. Yes it took a while to do everything, but if one feels that they need to be compensated or the cruise ship was negligent, they should talk to a maritime lawyer to see if they have a case.I don’t know anything about the small claims court portion ,that’s not what she filed. Also really doesn’t matter what our feelings are on any of this, Op/ author needs to do what they feel is necessary and legal.( Op lives in Canada and I believe is a Canadian citizen ) have no idea if it matters on citizenship if you can file suit or not. And I’m sure no one else will know what the statistics are at how many cases that are filed and how many won. My best to the OP as they navigate their way around their incident .
  16. @Last Lion if you feel or a maritime attorney thinks you have a case, go for it. There is definitely one in California, maybe many??? I don’t have the name, but a friend had an incident on a cruise ship and used a maritime attorney and was rewarded. Never had to go to California. Not sure if one needs to be a USA citizen.
  17. I guess it depends on how you count the days. …They left San Pedro on October 15 ( late afternoon/ early evening) and arrived in Hilo on the 20th.(5 days) So it’s 4 full Sea days.
  18. @MJSailors According to another post not too far previous from yours -the Hawaiian ambassadors are Rowena and Brian
  19. @meast1984 check out YouTube, To see if you can find your exact cabin number. Here is a sample of cabin C333 on the sky princess .This is the sofa made to a bed
  20. Salty dog grill on Sky Princess on deck 16 Lido by Slice ( pizza)is still included in the basic/ standard cruise fare. The menu is three kinds of burgers including a veggie burger, street tacos, two kinds of french fries, two kinds of hot dogs, a grilled chicken sandwich and a North Carolina barbecue sandwich
  21. No need to park to be picked up or dropped off unless being picked up and your ride is there, but you aren’t outside yet, they may ask driver to move on. Signs are pretty good to drop off. Yes, drive right to curb for pick up/ drop off. World cruise terminal or 100 Swinford Street,, San Pedro for directions. i have left on many cruises from S.P.
  22. As long as Princess still offers it, In my opinion go or try it. It is still included in your cruise fare. You can go anytime that it’s posted .you do not have to go for the entire length of time .let’s say it starts at 3pm and goes to 4 PM .you can show up at 3:45pm ,you can show up at 3 pm,etc. it’s honestly a very quick process or you can stay & linger . So in my opinion I would say it’s not out of fashion because Princess is still offering it. It’s not British high tea or authentic though, but it’s fun to go if you’ve never been or every once in a while .
  23. For the moment it is still going on. It is for :full suite,Platinum, and Elite passengers.
  24. @Albinroo check the family cruisers section, you might get more answers. From what I have read -definitely 2 year olds can not attend the program of being dropped off, it is for 3 years olds as minimum age and potty trained. I seem to have read yes you can take your under 3 year old child and use the facility with them, but maybe it changed? I know this doesn’t apply to the author ,but I do not believe parents are allowed to stay with their 3 +year old children in the camp Discovery room unless there’s space available. They don’t encourage or allow it. But if your child is under that age,it seems to be allowed . i just found this information under princess.com under the tab families . On Princess Cruises website Kids Cruise Activities — Ages 6 Months - 2 Years Making Our Youngest Voyagers Feel Right at Home Princess welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers to the world of cruising with services and amenities that make life easier for their families as well. These young guests are welcome in Camp Discovery when accompanied by a parent. Mini-Suites and Full Suites offer full-sized bath tubs, and wash bins for showers are available. Staterooms with balconies are perfect for naptime. You can request high chairs, booster seats and cribs. We also provide complimentary jarred baby food. And fresh, pureed foods (fruits, veggies and rice) are available in the main dining room, specialty restaurants, and Horizon Court or World Fresh Marketplace.
