  1. Following. Hope there are no more stumbles and you are on your way to a great cruise.
  2. After trying several times I gave up. Then when I checked my email I got one from Carnival that said there was something in my cart. So I went through the process from the email and it went through with no trouble.
  3. Am trying to book an excursion today before the Carnival website goes down. I enter my cc details but the "place order" stays gray and won't process. What am I doing wrong?
  4. Hi Jamie. We are on with you on the October 25th cruise but always like to read a good review by a great review teller like you. Ellie.
  5. I've just booked two cruises on Royal Caribbean with our TA who gets group rates. They are at least $200 pp less than booking directly. One is a 5 day with $200 deposit for 2 and the second is a 7 day with $500 deposit for two. Carnival's prices now are getting outrageous. Some of their comparable sailings are more money than Princess, Royal and NCL. We have three more booked but unless their prices become competitive I'm not sure we will book any more with Carnival.
  6. Best trail mix ever. No sunflower seeds and plenty of M & M's. Yum.
  7. When we did our B2B on the Pride in May we met in the theater around 7:30am and they gave us our new cards. Then we had to walk out to the baggage claim, then back on the ship where they took our picture again and swiped our new cards. We will also be on a Journey cruise on Venezia in February and hope the weather is good. Please post everything you can as we will be happily following.
  8. Now that you showed jacket man"s face and card jacket, he hosted the slot pull on our Western Europe Pride cruise in May.
  9. I'm sorry if I didn't know the right term to use being I will have my first MSC cruise in October. As I said I heard the fee was NOT applicable to the choices that are on every day.
  10. Looking forward to your review. It would be awesome if they did one out of NY.
  11. Someone mentioned that the $5 charge was not applicable if you ordered the second entree from the "everyday" choices. Sometimes we like to try new dishes and if we do not care for them we can order something else. I know this sounds wasteful. Maybe if we see something we would like to try only one of us will order it and the other order a dish we know we like and share.
  12. Were you able to book air with fly to fun? Nothing comes up for another cruise we have booked for April, 2024.
  13. In Bonaire we rented golf carts. It is only 2 blocks from the port. It was alot of fun. https://www.bonairecruisers.com/
  14. On the other social media site many are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Times Square. They got a good rate of $174.48 for a king room https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/new-york/nycws/hoteldetail?fromRedirect=true&qSrt=sBR&qIta=99801505&icdv=99801505&qSlH=NYCWS&qGrpCd=CAR&setPMCookies=true&qSHBrC=EX&qDest=343 West 39th Street%2C New York%2C NY%2C US&srb_u=1
  15. Yes I know it was digital but we still referred to it as the coffee card. It still cost around $36 with unlimited brewed coffee and 15 specialty coffees. So now I was thinking at 3 cups a day times two people and $2 per cup it will cost around $168 for our next 14 day Enchanted cruise in November, 2024. If it is free at the buffet we will certainly try to get it there.
  16. Yes. They still had it then. They stopped issuing them this past February.
  17. Was last on the Enchanted Princess last November when they still had the coffee card and always got several coffees a day from the international cafe. Now that they are installing this new coffee does that mean that this coffee is now free at the buffet and I C?
  18. Was looking at the Euribia April 5, 2025 16 night Dubai to Rome. Only lists Bella guarantee balconies. Does this mean the ship's other balconies are already all booked up this far in advance? I do not want to pay $1500 pp and wind up with an obstructed balcony.
  19. I put it in my cart this morning but it is gone now.
  20. Thinking of booking one of these. We have 6 sea days total so casino will be busy. What is the noise factor day and night?
  21. I have been checking to see if FTF comes up on my April 2024 cruises in California and so far I do not see anything. Is it too early or am I not looking in the right spot? I remember when we cruised last May from Barcelona I was able to see the different fares. Maybe it is just for international flights?
  22. Thinking about booking the Odyssey when she comes to NY in 2025. Did you see any shows at night? How were they?
  23. As stated above we were just on the Pride and the coffee at the lido was fine. The coffee in the MDR for breakfast was drinkable but coffee at dinner was not.
  24. You do know that the Verazzano Bridge will be closed on Nov. 5th until around 4pm. That is why we are not driving in from NJ. We are taking an Uber from our house to the port. It is around $80. If we took an Uber back they would have to go through Manhattan and would charge about $155. Still cheaper than parking. But I was also thinking about taking an Uber to Port Authority. It would be around $50. Then the bus and Uber back to our home is $25 total. Cheaper still. Will probably decide closer to the sailing.
