Weird to find an MSC review in an NCL forum. We, too usually cruise NCL but after our Feb. 2023 cruise to Bermuda on the Getaway which turned into a cruise to nowhere we decided to look elsewhere and are booked in October on the Miraviglia. We would really like to try the Prima class. We still have one Cruise Next left plus the $200 FCC from that Feb. cruise. We are now all booked up through Feb. 2025 on several other cruise lines and hope that the 2025 prices of the Prima and/or Viva come down.

You might also try to go with an advocate agency like the Elliott Org. https://www.elliott.org/ -

Enjoying your review. -
On an excursion in Aruba last year we decided on doing a UTV because we wanted to try it once in our lifetime and we had enough OBC to pay for it. They made us sign waivers excluding them from any damages or Injuries that might occur. We had to ride on the city streets for about 2p minutes before we got to the course. We were suppose to do 25 to 30 mph but the caravan was doing 40 to 50. Should have realized what was to come. I'm glad we returned in one piece.

I also think it depends on how close you are to your sailing for internet. When we booked our October 11 day sailing last year the internet was $114 per device. When I check now it is $174 per device .

Our FB group on the Miraviglia is having a Halloween party and dressing up. Not sure if it's through MSC or not.

Still not sure about some excursions I want to take for my October cruise. May want to use OBC. If I wait to get onboard will it cost more?

OMG The prices to now cruise on Royal Caribbean

I just booked the Liberty for next September and the Odyssey for Feb. 2025 and got great balcony group rates through my TA. Cheaper than MSC or Carnival. -
Having trouble booking an excursion today
EllieinNJ replied to EllieinNJ's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
After trying several times I gave up. Then when I checked my email I got one from Carnival that said there was something in my cart. So I went through the process from the email and it went through with no trouble. -
Am trying to book an excursion today before the Carnival website goes down. I enter my cc details but the "place order" stays gray and won't process. What am I doing wrong?

New to Carnival. Why are deposits so high?
EllieinNJ replied to dgc2861's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
I've just booked two cruises on Royal Caribbean with our TA who gets group rates. They are at least $200 pp less than booking directly. One is a 5 day with $200 deposit for 2 and the second is a 7 day with $500 deposit for two. Carnival's prices now are getting outrageous. Some of their comparable sailings are more money than Princess, Royal and NCL. We have three more booked but unless their prices become competitive I'm not sure we will book any more with Carnival. -
When we did our B2B on the Pride in May we met in the theater around 7:30am and they gave us our new cards. Then we had to walk out to the baggage claim, then back on the ship where they took our picture again and swiped our new cards. We will also be on a Journey cruise on Venezia in February and hope the weather is good. Please post everything you can as we will be happily following.

I'm sorry if I didn't know the right term to use being I will have my first MSC cruise in October. As I said I heard the fee was NOT applicable to the choices that are on every day.
-
Someone mentioned that the $5 charge was not applicable if you ordered the second entree from the "everyday" choices. Sometimes we like to try new dishes and if we do not care for them we can order something else. I know this sounds wasteful. Maybe if we see something we would like to try only one of us will order it and the other order a dish we know we like and share.

In Bonaire we rented golf carts. It is only 2 blocks from the port. It was alot of fun. https://www.bonairecruisers.com/

On the other social media site many are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Times Square. They got a good rate of $174.48 for a king room https://www.ihg.com/holidayinnexpress/hotels/us/en/new-york/nycws/hoteldetail?fromRedirect=true&qSrt=sBR&qIta=99801505&icdv=99801505&qSlH=NYCWS&qGrpCd=CAR&setPMCookies=true&qSHBrC=EX&qDest=343 West 39th Street%2C New York%2C NY%2C US&srb_u=1
