Do not use google translate but select the english version of the website. I have encountered numerous date problems when using a pre defined date field with google translate. If you cannot find the english version then put /en/ at the end of the address. Click the IT at top right side of webpage and select EN

May I ask how long his contract is? We are boarding at end of April.

I have just checked the Navigator App and (as we have come to expect) the cancellation terms are different to the printed confirmation! The app terms do indeed mention a 10% fee if cancelled onboard.

I have a couple of shorex booked, some booked in November 2023 and one booked last night. The verbage is identical on both. I think the para you are referring to is this one: If your tour is cancelled more than 3 days prior to cruise departure, a refund will be issued to the credit card that was used in the original transaction. Cancellations cannot be made online during the 3-day period prior to cruise departure. For cancellations made onboard the ship, a credit, less any cancellation fee, will be applied to your shipboard account. If the credit is not fully utilized during the cruise, the balance will be issued to your registered credit card at the end of the voyage. This makes sense as it relates to cancellations made on board and being unable to cancel them for the three days prior to departure. If you embark and then cancel two or more excursions (one or more of which is scheduled within the first three days of sailing and therefore subject to cancellation fees), then you will get a OBC for the shorex which are more than 3 days from cancellation date but any within the first 3 days will be deducted. So you as soon as you embark you cancel excursion for day2, day5 and day 8, then the credit less the cancellation fee for day 2. will be applied to your onboard account. At least I think that is what they intend...??

It is currently 11.10 pm on Wednesday 23, here in Ireland, but in Italy it is 00.10 am on Thursday 24th and all 3 devices are working as expected. Date selected is the date offered to book. So it does not appear to be time difference causing the problem Do you have a VPN you can use and select a European server to try?

I did it on my laptop using Windows 11 and chrome. I have just tried it on my Samsung S21FE/Android 14 and checking on two different dates in April and May it works fine. I will look for my tablet and try it on that........

The correct date is showing for me! Selected April 25th and next page shows April 25th

Good afternoon from a gale swept Cork. We have another 'Amber Weather warning' in force for winds and storms. (I think an Amber warning is just a posh Yellow warning 😃) DW felt so much better again today, that she decided that she could survive a busy day under a hairdryer and I am just about to head down to collect her from the hairdresser. All the good work will probably be blown away as soon as she walks through the hairdresser's door! Good afternoon from a very wet and very windy Cork. We are currently under an Orange Weather Warning for Storm Isha, with winds up to Force 10. We also have feline and canine type rain 😉 (raining cats and dogs!)😁 Today we had our usual Sunday lunch (as a take away) from the restaurant in Cork city that has kept us going through covid and DW's illness. It is only Grilled breast of chicken with veg (3 of them), roast and mash potatoes and gravy, plus desert. There is more than enough for the two of us for €20. Iit is basic but wholesome good food and we owe the couple who own/run the restaurant our immense thanks for helping us to survive through very difficult times. (there is enough chicken left over for a sandwich for me this evening). DW went to mass at 12 noon and is continuing to feel good. She has a couple of medical appointments this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Hopefully she will recieve good news and will continue her upward trend. Next week I think I must also start to write down banking details, passwords, etc and give them to our daughter to ensure continuity if anything happens to me. (It's not that I am a control freak, its just that I am better at doing it 😁) and modest! Hope everyone has a great day! take care!
