  1. MJ is correct. I fly from Tucson, a non-gateway city. The fee is $250 rt. I then also pay for deviation to fly in early. Then Regent schedules me and I have to opportunity to accept the flights or have them come up with different ones. Always check my bag in Tucson and pick it up again at my destination. Well worth not driving to Phoenix for me.
  2. Thanks for this thread. I was looking for it to comment on another thread where I though Jen might be of help.
  3. They make excellent margaritas at the pool bar too!
  4. Since the last two "Meet and Greets" we have done this summer have been unofficial, I created a sign to put out at the meeting area. I always invite FB RSSC Social Club contributors and CC Roll Call/ contributors, so both symbols are on the sign. Feel free to use it if you want. P.S. @mrlevin I thought Cedric was going to Explorer after leaving Navigator in Amsterdam? Things must have switched around. Meet and Greet.docx
  5. Yes, just ask your Room Steward for Kahlua and Vodka. You can probably ask them to bring milk each evening too if you want. We like Baileys on the rocks, so our steward brought us ice at turn down.
  6. That looked incredible! I always tell friends if they want to do an Alaskan cruise, I will go with them. I love the scenery! Different each time, and always fun things to do in the ports. So far, 3 have them have taken me up on it! All on Regent!
  7. Have you tried using earplugs? After you get used to them (a night or two) they can be a game changer. I always bring plenty for myself and whoever my roommate is, because (ahem) I've been told by my children that I snore.
  8. So if you only get one internet login, then the two of you will have to take turns. Best perk of becoming "Gold" in April for me!
  9. We were able to do this in Spain in May. Disembarked in Barcelona then flew home two weeks later from Lisbon. We had paid a flight deviation in order to stay longer, so don't know if a deviation fee would be charged.
  10. Take note that Fitness Class schedule is only listed in the little separate box on a different page than the main schedule of the day. So if you are trying to find a class, make sure to look for that separate entry.
  11. Since we were scheduled two days in Edinburgh, I did both Stirling Castle and Edinburgh Castle. Both were great excursions. If I could only choose one, I would choose Edinburgh which also allows you to see some of the other sites in the city. We ended up with another day in Edinburgh due to weather. Since we were docked in Leith, we spent that day touring the Royal Yacht, which was right next to the ship. Great choice, and would have been doable along with another excursion that day. The Royal Yacht is self guided and can be done in about 2 hours.
  12. They posted pictures on Facebook RSSC Social Club. Really looked beautiful!
  13. I used my phone in July. No problem. Just set it up so that they could see the test.
  14. It was deck 9. Only one area on deck 9 seems to have this vibration problem. Check Suite Guru sticky at the top of this board to see my review.
  15. Yes. Show your "long haul" boarding pass (either after long haul or before). As mentioned above, may not apply to Carribbean.
  16. Daren posted another episode on YouTube: (Warning: it will make you hungry!)
  17. To use Apple Airtags you need to have an Apple device to use for tracking them. Samsung and Tiles work for Android devices.
  18. Delighted to see you are doing a "Live" report for us. Still suffering from cruise withdrawal!
  19. So funny you mention the Splendor laundry tags! I hated them too. That's why I mentioned somewhere that on the Navigator last month the tags were delightfully easy to take out! Maybe Navigator laundry team can share their secret with Splendor laundry team. The tags were identical.
  20. Yes, they do. Go up to the fitness center the first day and they will have the class schedule.
  21. Same for us. Just had a Concierge on Navigator and it made not one iota of difference to us since all Navigator lower level suites are the same. Had a different color palate (gold) for the decor. My friend remembered that our previous cruise on Navigator had a blue color palate and happened to mention it when our steward was in the room, so he told us the difference. Ha, ha. We did take the hotel credit and booked our own hotel.
  22. Wendy, I thought that was the problem I was having the first night on Splendor in April. Turned out my seasickness was do to the constant vibration in that particular suite. They were able to move us to an identical suite on a different floor and then no more seasickness. So it ends up that I'm ok in either configuration. Hope you are too! Martha
