upwarduk Posted February 7, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Bring another ship to sail out of UK; Why do I have to fly to Amsterdam to sail around the UK? miched Posted February 7, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Would like to see cruises from Bayonne to spend a few nights in Bermuda and also over night Key West. Or just a cruise from the East coast to spend a few nights in Key West with the mandatory stop in a foreign port. A ten to 14 day cruise with over nights in Bermuda, Key West and Cuba sailing from the east coast. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌞

maggie.1008 Posted February 7, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 7, 2015 More West Coast. No non stops and it takes 12 hours to get to Florida. People on the East Cost have so much more to choose from. Last 3 cruises have been on Princess out of San Pedro.
Rare Cruise Junky Posted February 7, 2015 #11 Share Posted February 7, 2015 More Spanish ports itineraries. Love the July 1 2016 Iberian Pennisula, but it is the one for that season. They are starting these. There's a fantastic Spanish Itinerary in Oct. 2015 which they're repeating in 2016. Very happy to see this.
Bruin Steve Posted February 7, 2015 #12 Share Posted February 7, 2015 My somewhat selfish dream: That Celebrity home-port a ship in Los Angeles...and alternate the following list of itineraries: 1) LA to Santiago Chile...14 nights 2) Santiago to LA...14 nights... 3) LA to Vancouver...10 nights 4) Vancouver to LA...10 nights 5) LA to Cabo to LA ...5 nights... 6) LA to Hawaii to LA...14 or 15 nights 7) LA round trip Mexican Riviera...7 nights 8) LA round trip Sea of Cortez...7 nights Repeat those in some order or another four times to make up a full year of cruising. So, eight two week cruises one-way to or from South America (they could add Macchu Picchu cruisetour options), eight "Pacific Coastals" (using Victoria and Vancouver as the foreign ports, thus avoiding Ensenada--with extended cruisetour options to the Canadian Rockies), four long Hawaii cruises and 12 cruises to Mexico with three different itineraries. Enough variety that, with each itinerary running only four times a year, the demand is there for each cruise.

Miami to Aruba and back in 7 days? Half Moon Cay? They would have to buy NCL. Whats wrong with CoCo? Grand Turk is pretty much owned by Carnival and a stop for lines they own. Do all the countrys have the interstructure to handle 2-3000 people? Cabs, tour Co's, supplies? There is a lot that RCCL/Celebrity has no influence or say over that would have to happen. But then Alice was served tea by a rabbit in Wonderland!

Once we retire (in 3-4 years), we will probably turn to Princess, so we can cruise without the airfare. GO BRUINS!!

kelmac Posted February 8, 2015 #25 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Looks great! However, Half Moon Cay is owned by Holland America (Carnival Corp) and they would never allow a Celebrity ship to use their island. Coco Cay is okay. Enjoy!
