Hi Frank,

Plan on having our Genie set up drinks and apps if we have a cabin crawl on our April and June Oasis cruises. Nothing

planned for our October cruise. Would be nice to have Tyman, Frank 808, Island Lady and their families together with us on a cruise. Still showing great prices for L2 Crown Lofts on the Oasis 10-21-2018. Frank 808 and us will be on board.

Also know of one other couple in that we met on Oasis is going on this cruise. Passed on the info that the prices were good and they booked a CL also.

I was really tempted by the star loft prices for this cruise. But in the end decided we didn't need it and we are on this cruise to spend time with you, Sandy and the other couple. Literally flying into FLL on saturday then flying out when we dock on Sunday. This matched Hunters fall break perfectly and when you told us the pricing we decided why not. Now I would prefer to stay on longer and our cabin is still available the following week. Going to work on my wife to see if we can make it a b2b again [emoji847][emoji847]

Have fun in the star suites! Going to get ready for happy hour and watch st marteen fade in the distance.

C&A status doesn't get the fee waived.

On a cash account, you can take out cash without a fee, but they call you down to Guest Services to pay off your account when it approaches $500, so you can't use it to rack up huge withdrawals in the casino.

I guess that people find that the 5% fee is less than whatever points or cash they get on their credit card accounts.

I would love to know a credit card that pays you more than 5% for purchases. As far as I know such a card doesn’t exist. The only thing might be an airline card on a recently opened account where you get 50,000 or 60,000, etc. miles once you make a set number of purchase dollars after you open the account. Other than some special offer. I don’t think it makes much economic sense. I know some credit cards like Discover will give a 5% quarterly reward on specific purchases say on purchases at Amazon. Amazon’s own card will give you 5% on purchases at Amazon. I have yet to find one that will do that on cash withdrawals at the casino. I have a Sam’s credit card that pays me 5% on gas purchases.

Anyway, I hope someone will clue me in on these cards that reward you at 5%. I want one!

That's only applicable if you fly, it's not like they'll deliver my bags to our condo.

I will gladly schlep my luggage into car and be home in 20 minutes instead of having to fly 14 hours to get home [emoji6].

When we retire, my wife says we want cruise like John&LaLa and Stanmelb!

Booked on the Oasis 1-20-2019 and 4-7-2019. Pat and Bucky are also booked 1-20-2019. May book the Oasis for 3-3-2019 on board when we sail on the Oasis 3-4-2018.

At least you won't have to be concerned with over crowding in the DS land yacht while enjoying your nightly cocktails and enjoying the Key West sunsets. :wine-glass::cocktail::beer-mug::whiskey-glass: Did you notice how I kind of stayed on topic. :D

4-7-19 sounds like it will work the most for us.

This would be great, However, Sandy still declines your marriage proposal.

This is one of the last cruises from Port Canaveral for the Oasis.

Only because you were standing there the whole time. Lol!!

True but it was the 19th High Seas Rally and many were Diamond and above. Frequent cruisers who were aware of both DL and CL but mostly avoided because of lack of FREE booze.

How do you know they avoided because there was no free booze? Was there some different entertainment being offered somewhere else at the same time that would have kept them away? How many Diamonds and above on that charter?

Look at my Scope I posted from Brilliance. Take away the FREE booze and very few people show up.

On that cruise, their was no FREE booze in the DL or CL.

You are absolutely right.

The free booze is a massive attraction and outside cocktail hours it is empty most of the time except breakfast and for coffee.

I know there were over 500 cruisers had in excess of 15 HSR cruises, all 7 nighters. Many were frequent Royal cruisers as well.

We had conversations prior to the cruise and during the cruise regarding the lack of C&A perks on this cruise. This was the first full ship Charter. In the past, they enjoyed Freedom as a partial Charter

Less than 200 cruisers didn’t have the package. It was a drinking cruise.

Many frequent cruisers were upset regarding the lack of perks. We both had drink packages and could get booze in the DL/DL with our SeaPass. The most people we saw at any given time was about 8 in either lounge. We had only 1 P onboard and they would show up each evening.

HSR has a FB page were all could see the complaints.

I still believe you take away the FREE booze and many people will not show up.

There was really no ships entertainment. A couple of bands were brought onboard by the Charter. Events did occur after dinner hours. Mostly for Charity and drawings. Split between the theater , pool deck, and Star Lounge
