As do we! They are a wonderfully welcoming couple and have enjoyed many good times with them. Looking forward to our next two Oasis cruises with them again.

Cheers John and Sandy, you have a fan club! :D

It isn't cheating, it is just someone working the system. The more people boast about it, the more likely the cruise line will close that loophole just like they did when people were combining every possible discount that existed or when people were taking out $10,000 dollars on their Royal Caribbean credit card to earn for double points to then go home and use said money to pay off their account.

That wasn't "people" that did the $10,000 credit card scam, it was a "person", and yes, he messed things up for the rest of all future pax.

I'm kinda scratching my head over the overflow thing. You can now take your drinks out of the CL or DL, and the DL's are usually right next to the VCL, so why not just take your conversation and drinks out to the VCL, and my your own overflow lounge? We did this on our last family cruise, and had a great time every night.

Just be sure to tidy up when you leave. I don't feel right making the VCL servers do the work for CL/DL staff. However, if I'm in a hurry, I will leave a tip for them to do it.

Agree! I don't see you doing any kind of deriding, only giving thoughtful and well mannered posts.

Cheers Graham...hope to sail with you in the future. :)

Thanks, your posts are thoughtful and well mannered too.

It would be fantastic to meet yourself and Bucky.

Regards Graham & Pauline.

We took out around 5 grand in the casino on our spring TA. Paid it off when we got home. Pocketed around $150 on our Sam's MC. I didn't know that was not allowed with the BOA card

Its nice to be friendly and it would be great to meet and chat to people who have very similar views to ourselves.

Your views differ from ours but i would be happy to chat with you in the DL or CL.

I think it’s because John likes to take his afternoon naps on the top floor. Lol!

LOL!! :D

Bill!! Where have you been?? :o:confused: Are you going to be on Oasis again any time soon? Would love to cruise with you two again!

Yeah...John does not nap when you are around. ;p

BTW: George has been on every cruise with us since that "almost bilge rat" cabin. He loved being "adopted" and is now well traveled. ;)

I agree. This is not a scam. We've never been questioned about a large onboard bill (from the casino) using our BoA card.

We’re on the Brilliance this coming Monday, then back on Oasis Sept 2nd for Tyler’s BD. Looking at summer stuff too....

The cruise line started charging a fee to get cash out in the casino because people were taking out so much cash and then weren't using it in the casino. Some people, based on C&A status or Casino Royale status, do not pay this fee.

It only makes sense to do it for large amounts if the fee is waived.

However, I'd rather have $95 in cash than 10 tee shirts. 😉

C&A status doesn't get the fee waived.

On a cash account, you can take out cash without a fee, but they call you down to Guest Services to pay off your account when it approaches $500, so you can't use it to rack up huge withdrawals in the casino.

I guess that people find that the 5% fee is less than whatever points or cash they get on their credit card accounts.

I thought that was one of the pinnacle benefits? I knew they waived the fee for some, thought the pineapples were in that bunch too.

Thanks Merion Mom, I wondered about that C&A status waiver statement. Those who got a specific number of points on the previous cruise can get the 5% fee waived. Casino Club requirements are under revision and I've heard a variety of different things about getting cash out with fee/no fee. The casino changes are to be announced in April.

Hi Frank,

Plan on having our Genie set up drinks and apps if we have a cabin crawl on our April and June Oasis cruises. Nothing

planned for our October cruise. Would be nice to have Tyman, Frank 808, Island Lady and their families together with us on a cruise. Still showing great prices for L2 Crown Lofts on the Oasis 10-21-2018. Frank 808 and us will be on board.

Nope, not a Pinnacle perk.

Pinnacles do get free Luggage Valet though.

I’m feeling the love!! With Brilliance next week, Oasis Sept 2nd and a HAL cruise in early Dec, 2018 is full. I’ve not booked 2019 yet, so give me some dates John...
