As of now not sure if we can make it to Port Everglades tomorrow. Will have to wait and see if we experience any property damage tonight. If we do not sail, Crown Loft # 1756 will be available. Hope your come out alright. We lost our pool screen enclosure during Matthew.

Biker19 Posted September 3, 2019 #1009 Share Posted September 3, 2019 Dear Guest, We’re looking forward to having you onboard, and while we hope Hurricane Dorian doesn’t impact our plans, we are continuing to watch the storm closely and will keep you updated in the coming days. Along with our Chief Meteorologist, James Van Fleet, and a team of cruise experts, we’re carefully monitoring the storm’s strength and path. Its speed has been slow and the trajectory has been pretty hard to predict – but rest assure, we are watching it around the clock. While currently not forecasted, should the storm make its way to the New Jersey/New York area, there is a possibility that our departure time may change. As of right now, we plan to set sail as scheduled. If there are any changes, you’ll be the first to know! If the storm doesn’t make its way to the port, it’s very likely to stay out at sea. If this occurs, we will plan a course that keeps us safely away. Please know, our top priority is your safety and we would never put you in harm’s way. Being onboard a ship is one of the safest places to be during a storm, because we are faster and can move out of the way of any inclement weather. Plus, our ships have the latest technology, satellites, communication equipment, along with a team of experts who closely monitor the weather. Our goal and commitment to you is to be overly communicative to keep you well-informed during this very fluid situation. We will share another update with you by 6 PM EDT on Wednesday, September 4th, 2019, even if nothing has changed. In the meantime, continue running any last-minute errands for your cruise! P.S. - make sure to pack a sweater or light jacket – it’s already cool in New England! Look forward to having you onboard with us! Sincerely, Royal Caribbean International

We got a notice that we would be leaving on the 4th Then 2 days later we would leave on the 5th, thats were it stands now. So from a 14 day cruise its down to a 10 & not sure of that yet. Hope we make it on board on the 5th because we are celebrating our 62nd annv. & are expecting a gift from Mr Bailey, his sec. said it was a surprise, hope she didnt forget because we have been going nuts trying to figure out what it could be. Wish us luck. george35 You are worried about your anniversary & hundreds of people no longer have a home?

I am looking for a line in that post you responded to that says @george35 doesn't care? The fact is, all of our lives do go on and, yes, we are allowed to worry about little things as well as the big ones. And a 62nd anniversary actually is a biggie to these folks, and a rarity, as is expecting a special remembrance from Bayley. Did you fix breakfast? Are you using air conditioning, driving a car, calling your friends? What about the people who cannot do that? Isn't it OKAY for people to worry about more than one thing?? NOBODY is happy for the plight of the families in the Bahamas. But this couple has looked forward to this celebration for a long time and I for one GET it that they are slightly stressed about missing even one day of this cruise... Do not make them out to be selfish because they are sharing their distress. Be kind to us ALL, please! We don't know everyone's story. 20
