Thrak Posted May 16, 2020 #227 Share Posted May 16, 2020 Too much angst on the boards so I'm bringing this thread back to the front page. Maybe some happy memories can be shared. I wish I had purchased a bottle of this wine. For those who don't know, Pruno is the name of the "wine" that is brewed from whatever one can get in jail. Sometimes made in the toilet tank if one is available. Saw this in Barcelona... (Naturally I sent a picture of it to my son who is a California Highway Patrol Sergeant. He got a kick out of it.) K.T.B. Posted May 16, 2020 #231 Share Posted May 16, 2020 This was from when my wife and I were in St. Kitts back in March of 2019. Even though i knew the guy was going to ask for money after taking the pictures, it was worth it. It gave us a fun memory.
wishIwascruising Posted May 16, 2020 #232 Share Posted May 16, 2020 Our first Family Reunion cruise. It turned these grandkids into cruise aficionados. This was the first of many cruises.

Treasure Hunter Posted May 17, 2020 #239 Share Posted May 17, 2020 Tahiti on the Ocean Princess. The ship had a children's group come on board to perform. One little dancer took a nap. It was one of my favorite cruises.
Cruiserkenn Posted May 17, 2020 #240 Share Posted May 17, 2020 Fantastic photo! As you may know, a young people's group comes aboard to perform in Honolulu, also. A highlight of any Hawaii cruise. 🙂🌈🌅⛴🌸🍍🌼🌺🙂🌝🐋🐳

When I was there June 2018 with my family it was snowing on the summit, so it's nice to see what the view could have been like with good weather. 😄 The view June 20th, 2018 after the clouds parted just for a few moments (pardon the amateur photography on my old S6): The view closer to Geiranger: I agree about Norway. What I beautiful place. I was there many years on a small mail, passenger, & freight boat 🚣♀️ called the Hurtigruten which goes up & down the coast of Norway to places where big cruise ships can’t go. I would love to do that again. Tom😀
richsea Posted May 17, 2020 Author #243 Share Posted May 17, 2020 (edited) These are from a TransAtlantic to Amsterdam back in 2009, which was celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Dutch settling of NYC. We took a train to Keukenhof to the tulip festival where they had history of NYC displays throughout the tulip fields. Rare trbarton Posted May 17, 2020 #244 Share Posted May 17, 2020 My favorite on any cruise is the Executive Chef’s Dinner. Different ships, different Chef’s, different food, different wine but it all melts in your mouth. My special one was one when the chef agreed to do one just for the 12 people in our Cruise Critic group. Tom😀
