We also did a cross country trip in Canada in 1976.

Love Captain Sandy too. And then the wackado woman jumped of the tender boat on the way to shore, after being thrown off. Best Canadian road trip was 1993 after my first year of university. We road tripped from Ontario to Alberta from May to the end of July for work. We took off to the Dawson City for a further road trip over and above. Came back with close to 20,000 kms on the odometer. Sure want to return to many of the places along the way and the NWT. I’d love to fly with Buffalo Air in one of their old planes. Edited January 26, 2021 by A&L_Ont

The culture is so different than anywhere in else I have been to in the country. Had it not been for the ubiquitous Tim Hortons I'd have thought I was on the other side of the world. I met some of the most incredible people. Their stories and their history were amazing. Some my favorite pictures on my camera roll are from that trip.
Ocean Boy Posted January 26, 2021 #6509 Share Posted January 26, 2021 For all you Below Deck fans, this is why I lost a lot of respect for Capt. Lee.... Remember in Tahiti when Brian had the infection in his knee? When it began Ashton told Lee that he thought the knee was infected. In a later episode when it was getting bad they called a doctor to the boat who said the knee was infected. Lee's response was that infection never entered his mind. They guy lied to cover up his mistake. Medical care should have been sought at the first suspicion of infection. He has no tolerance for lying from the crew but can't live up to his own standards. Bottom line is he has no business playing doctor. They were not out in the middle of the ocean. He should have sought medical care for his crew man much sooner and should have owned up to his mistake.

I'd still be missing New Mexico. Either way, 52 hours in a car, ain't gonna happen. Either my wife would kill me partway there, or my back would lock up so badly that I couldn't walk for days. Very few north-south running highways through the middle of the US. 1
