Hopefully with your high vaccinated population the rising cases won't mean higher serious cases or deaths

Unfortunately the deaths have been going up, but not sure by how much. They are mostly unvaccinated.

Hopefully they caught this guy and you were able to get some sleep.

I was reading on my nextdoor neighbor app this morning about 2 teenage boys that have been stealing packages at people's front door this summer were caught yesterday stealing a child's scooter.

Unfortunately they didn’t. 😡 They took fingerprints and will now be on the lookout. They say he can’t live to far since he is on a bike and they think he jumped in the water and swam somewhere.

I'm not liking the chef much. Too bad he is from RI. If he walks out it will be interesting to see if he returns and if Sandy will let him come back. There is something about Lexi that is very odd. I can't put my finger on it but I don't much like her either. On the other hand, I really like the chief stu.

Sometimes I wonder how much of it is made up for the drama. They say it’s not scripted, but I don’t know.

I was auditing a city awhile back that was having the same problem. The week before going on a cruise a police officer friend of mine was rigging a car with cameras which they parked in the problem area.  While on the cruise our cruise friend was on Facebook and saw where the police officer was shot and killed.  It was a tough moment.  A short time later they caught the guy.

That’s horrible. Glad they caught the guy.

I will be celebrating with my family on Saturday but on Monday my wife is having surgery and even though we will be in a festive mood my wife’s medical issues will be on our minds. My daughters will be here to take care of me and the house till my wife is better but they both have mini vacations scheduled from July 30 to August 1 and my wife would not let them cancel their plans.

Thanks for your birthday wishes😀

Happy Birthday and best wishes for your wife’s surgery.

Not sure if Owens ball game is going to happen or not today.  If ball is cancelled, Owen has a soccer practice at 7pm one field over. Just in case his soccer gear is in the back of the car. Umbrellas and lawn chairs are also packed too.

My goodness, I haven't been on since page 921, and I just haven't had the time to read what has been going on for the past 34 pages!!  We've been busy with yard work since we had the 8 trees taken down.  The machinery used to take the trees out left quite a bit of gouged tracks throughout the property.  It couldn't be helped, we totally understood that, and I'm just thankful to finally have had them removed.  Jim and I have been putting in new soil and planting new grass.   With the weather we've been having, the grass is growing quite rapidly.

This past Saturday was our 50th Anniversary, and on Sunday, our three daughters, sons-in-law, and  seven grandchildren helped us to celebrate at a beautiful waterfront restaurant in town.  It was a wonderful, never to be forgotten evening.  We feel truly blessed!

@lenquirate66  Wishing you a very Happy Birthday this Saturday, Lenny, and best wishes for a quick

and successful surgery for your DW!

@dani negreanu...Dani, your husband's "out of box" art is awesome!!

Game over with a mercy win. 16-5.  Owen’s streak is still on a roll. No strike outs this season.  He had a double, single and two walks.

Owen finished quickly changed and made it to the last 15 minutes of soccer. on our way home. The sweaty boy needs a shower.

This is not so impressive in a picture but that thing in the sky is not the moon, it is this morning's rising sun. We have so much smoke in the air from the Canadian fires that you can actually look right at the sun. Normally it blinds me as I drive into the hospital parking lot. A front coming through tonight is supposed to clear the sky.

While maybe not scripted, I'd guess that the producers encourage those on the show to behave in a certain way or to discuss certain things.  They can then edit down hours and hours of raw video to get the result that they want..."unscripted" drama.  I remember seeing a Survivor contestant being interviewed and he said that what was shown on TV was an exaggerated version of what really happened.

It doesn't really matter. It is entertaining.

@Luckynana Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary

@ownedbypets  There have been a couple of sighting in the last 25 years since we have been here, but they usually don’t make it down this far. I have seen a couple of manatees in our canal.

I love manatees! We had quite a few gators removed from ponds when we lived in Plantation years ago. One is too many for me.

@dani negreanuIf anyone is looking for a pointy toed shoe, look no further.

I really like the brown one with the golden "sunshine" design.  Let me know when the other one is ready!

@island ladyI'll pass on the lobster and take two of the blueberry pie.  My MIL made a blueberry pie for dessert two weeks ago.  I haven't had blueberry in years and have never tried myself.  Apple is more my thing. It might have been my son's first time and he is 31.  He was pleasantly surprised at just how good it was.  He can be a bit skeptical and I'm guessing he has missed out on other yummy things.  Maybe he will be a bit more open minded from now on.

Yeah, we get "lobstered out" after too many.  This was our first lobster roll in weeks.  Just sounded good on the menu when we got there.  🙂   We are usually fish sandwich types.  The fresh Haddock up here is really good.

Yes to the the double portion of pie...Bucky had to have that full one on the way home to take back with us!  😉

We went to one of our favorite restaurants last night called Lagniappe (pronounced Lan-yap).  It's a creole word that means something like "a little something extra".  We've tried about 1/3 of their menu by now and haven't found anything yet that wasn't excellent.  We got there early for happy hour but didn't have a reservation so we sat and ate at the bar.  I decided to try their house Old Fashioned, that they called "L Fashioned".  It's Woodford Reserve Bourbon and creole bitters poured over a sugar cube with muddled orange and Luxardo cherries.  A little closer to the original Old Fashioned recipe than Sea Dog's with the sugar cube but the creole bitters was a nice twist.  It looks and tastes great, but I think I preferred the taste of Sea Dog's better.

We met a couple sitting next to us who were headed to Alaska today for a couple of months.  Some people try to visit every state in the US.  They were trying to visit every county (called boroughs in Alaska) in every state.  They had been to Alaska before and checked off 5 of the more populated and easier to get to boroughs.  This trip, they were visiting the rest of the boroughs and the other parts of the state called census areas.  Since many parts of Alaska are only accessible by plane or boat, they have 27 different flights set up to shuttle them around, and a long list of hotels/B&Bs for them to stay.  Sounds a little like @island lady's adventures in Maine, but even more rural in many cases.  I'm very interested in talking to them when they get back.

The lobster roll looks great, but that pie steals the show.  Blueberry pie is my favorite.  And pumpkin pie. Oh, and apple pie. Hmmm, maybe I don’t have a favorite?!

I am with you!  Though I would be more in heaven if it was sugar free!  Then not so guilty feeling.  😄

My favorites:  Cherry and Custard.
