How are you guys watching this?🤔

It’s on the Peacock app which I purchased through my Apple TV. It costs me $5/month. I’m hoping they will make it available on Bravo soon.

Re Chris Rock and Will Smith:

I am going to post a quote from the blog of my friend Gerry.

Gerry is a guy who I have been friends with since the tenth grade.

He is a movie Director,Producer,Screen Writer and Novelist. However, like thousands of others he is not a household name.Approximately 15 years ago he began writing an Internet Blog.He has subscribers in 72 counties.

Among them are actors, novelists, politicians and heads of states.

He is very opinionated and writes about History,Politics and Entertainment.

I do not agree with many of his beliefs but I have a great respect for him.

“He who gets slapped:Chris Rock,Will Smith and the Devil,at the 2022 Oscars……..And more dystopian than the violence itself, the Clockwork Orange violence was condoned and then applauded by an elite audience of modern egos, because the perpretator earns $20 million a film.”

”This is how we know the violence was ludicrous :Rock told a joke about Jada’s hair….not about the podcast on which she said she and Will discussed her affair with a friend of their son.”

Meanwhile, another sad evening here.... From the CNN --

Five people have been shot dead on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, Israel, medics say, in the third deadly attack of its kind within a week.

Four people were killed in the first one, and two Sunday evening in the second one.

Sunday evening could have been much more worse, luckily a group of soldiers just stopped to eat some shawarma at a nearby kiosk, and swiftly took over...

I'm pleased you and your family are safe Dani.

When I heard it on BBC news I thought of you straight away.

Has anyone been watching Below Deck Australia?  What’s you take?  The obvious one to me, is the Captain who is a micromanager.

I like the Australia captain.  Is he a micromanager or just more hands on?  Would Captain Lee, Sandy or Glenn be up at 3 am mopping up an overflowing toilet?

Now the chef...don't like him one bit.  He can cook...but geez...his attitude.

After what, 3 or 4 episodes of Australia...it's my favorite Below Deck.

Started binge watching the new season of Yellowstone (season 4) on Paramount. Wow going to be intense. I love this series. Reminds me of “Bonanza” meets “The Godfather .”

Oh, wow...didn't know this was on now.  We loved the previous seasons of Yellowstone.

We only have two more episodes of Bridgerton season 2.  We'll finish that and then switch to Yellowstone season 4.

You are correct, neither would be helping to clean up a mess. I like this Captain because nothing is below him.

Agreed. He is arrogant and I don’t think it’s going to end well for him.

I can’t say I have a favourite.  I appreciate the ocean scenery from all of them and groan in embarrassment at the actions of the crew and guests.

If you haven’t seen also watch 1883 which is the prequel to Yellowstone. It’s very very good.

We had not watched any of this show, but we started 1883 Monday night and watched episode 2 Tuesday night.

CVS just cancelled our Antigen tests for April 7.  I understand CVS cancels a lot.  At least they gave us notice.  Walgreens will open up tomorrow, so I shouldn't have this anxious feeling ......but I still do.😒

Thank goodness you did get notice.  It sure beats driving there only to find out they are no longer doing it there.

We go to Walgreens tomorrow morning for our tests..🤞

Your friend Gerry uses hyperbolic language.  I was going to say they should have escorted Will Smith out and I just read they asked him to leave and he refused.  The Academy has initiated disciplinary action against Smith.  A slap on the wrist most likely.

No comment from Greg ?  Did your vote win best picture ?

The only correct pick I had was Best Director.Re Will Smith,if I was a member of the Academy I would say he should be removed permanently.

859606412_BlackTops.thumb.PNG.32de11e5849eea71f0c0aceddaa47d94.PNGOkay the final pictures are in for the remodeled kitchen,  this is the plan we are going with, now just awaiting a final price quote.

The colors aren't exactly true as to what they will be, but this gives kind of the color contrast..........There will also be brick on the wall above the microwave cabinet.

The bricks on wall are on an angle above the other cabinets because there is a high peaked ceiling in this soon to be combined kitchen/ living room.

Yes my SAG vote did win for best picture. I had most of the pics.

Now for my comments on the slap heard around the world. I wanted to wait a few days to see how the news played out.

I watched and was outraged what Will Smith did. He ruined  the night for himself, the others who won and the Oscars. Was the joke in bad taste yes but I never ever condone violence. I hope Will Smith gets banned from the Oscar’s to set an example that kind of behavior will not be tolerated.

I think Kareem Abdul Jabbar said it best in his op ed titled “Will Smith did a bad, bad thing.” He said “When Will Smith stormed onto the Oscar stage to strike Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife’s short hair, he did a lot more damage than just to Rock’s face. With a single petulant blow, he advocated violence, diminished women, insulted the entertainment industry, and perpetuated stereotypes about the Black community”

The fact that Will Smith has apologized publicly to save face but has not spoken face to face with Chris Rock shows the cowardice of Smith.

I respect Smith as an actor and felt he deserved the Oscar but after the “Slap” he should have been forced to leave and not hear his name called. I now have no respect for him as a man.

just my two cents.
