Your Celtics are devouring my NETS.

Looks like Ben Simmons will be playing the next game so the Nets should have better defense, Just don't play Ben in the last 5 minutes because he can't make a foul shot. 🤣 Take it from a Sixer Fan........we know all about  Ben not being able to make a clutch foul shot down the stretch.

I never saw Simmons play .I heard that he is a great defensive player. How long have you been a fan of the Sixers ? I knew Billy Cunningham when he was in HS.

62 years, lived in South Jersey up until a year ago. Phillies, Sixer's Eagles, Flyers fan.

Simmons can play all the positions on the floor because he is tall and moves on the court like a guard but he doesn't have an outside shot,  He is good at playing playground street ball.

I assume you saw Roger Brown play for the Pacers. He and I were friends when we were teenagers. In 2011 I contributed to the making of a documentary about his life.It played in theaters and PBS stations. It is currently on You Tube.

I'm so sorry. It's the loss not only of a beloved pet but those items that are a one of a kind memory. I'm a Christmas freak as most people know and have family ornaments going back 3 generations. To lose those would be heartbreaking.

If I ever have to flee a fire from here,  the thing I would want to save is a memory frame hanging in my bedroom that has my parents wedding invitation, printed menu, the actual lace hankie my mom carried on their wedding day,  a few pictures in their youth.  I would grab that, shove Jack out the door and run.

I have been treated 8 years for Parkinson’s by a Neurologist.Everything that I have been doing as far as treatment has not helped. My doctor feels that it is time for a doctor who specializes in Parkinsons.I just called for an appointment and much to my surprise the next available appointment is October 11.

@LuckynanaMaryann posted what was in my thoughts after reading your post.  I would look for another specialist.  Perhaps if your Neurologist made the call himself you would be able to get an appointment earlier than October. Are you able to make the drive into Manhattan?  I bet the options would be greater there. Apologizing ahead for asking, but why did your Neurologist wait 8  years for you to see a Parkinsons Specialist?

Next date was when we moved to Fl,  where we rented for a year to buy our current home.

That cruise was the relocation of Explorer of the Deas from Bayonne to make room for Quantum, and I looked that up on RCCL past cruises.

We were on that cruise too. The rogue wave and the lifeboat accident. And Captain Rick the singing sensation!😁

For the 2nd Passover "seder" we took the opportunity that our in-laws are "free" from their other 2 kids (one took his family abroad, the other one celebrating with her husband's family), and invited them over.

I'll save you the pics of chopped liver and "gefilte fish".... DH was full of inspiration for this meal --

Potatoes in a new "style" --

Cauliflower (baked with a sprinkle of olive oil, salt & pepper) --

Beetroot salad with green apples, tuna mousse --

And my modest contribution -- chocolate marbled cheese cake

In my naïveté, I was optimistic, thinking we'll have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow and Saturday... Ha !!

What can I say, the meal was really tasty  😁

@Ocean Boy I am looking forward to seeing cruise pics from your new camera…. Phone.  Remember, if you want to post a video you can downsize  it in the editor to 720 so it will load easier from ship internet. It will still look good here and when I have downsized, a copy was made so I still have the original at 4k or whatever it was recorded at and the downsized copy.  If concerned about space you can delete the downsized copy after posting.

I to enjoyed the one that was voted off of Survivor though I really would of been ok with either that were mentioned.  There are still a few I will be happy to see go.

Thanks for all the camera advice. I am looking forward to using it. I especially want to see the difference with low light scenes compared to my S8. I have my S22 upstairs charging so I pulled out my S8 to use to post. I now realize how much faster the 22 is compared to the 8. I am really liking the new phone.

Are you going to take similar pics with both and compare them side by side?

And yes, you don't realize how slow your old phone gets over time, until you get the new one and it's so zippy compared to the old dinosaur phone!

No, I'm only bringing the S22. But I have plenty of low light photos that I've taken over the past 5 yrs with the S8 so I'll have plenty of comparisons.

Very nice to invite in-laws over.   Food looks delicious, especially the beet salad and your cheesecake.

And the potatoes too!   What seasoning is on potatoes?

We made it to Gatlinburg and so far it is a lot of fun.  We had a good meal, adult beverages and live music.  Country my favorite.  Thus far no masks, no testing and no vaccination requirements.  It might be really hard to want to go on a cruise after this.  Our hotel is on the river and there are geese, ducks and a heron.

Why he waited so long was because he believed he could help me.I cannot get to Manhattan .I cannot be in a car that long and cannot be on a train.

I am going to call my Neurologist tomorrow and see if he can get me an earlier appointment.
