We just finished watching a Netflix mini series, Stay Close. It's a thriller about men who disappear at the same time of year

It gets better as you get into it

We really enjoyed it

https://m.imdb.com/title/tt2201227/

I watched that one because I like the leads Cush Jumbo & Richard ArmItage and because I like Harlan’s Coben’s books.

Picked up one of his older books from the street library recently, got half way into it when I realised I had read it before.  It was a long while ago so I enjoyed reading it again (Trust Your Eyes - a guy with a mental illness who  is obsessed with “Whirl360”a fictional version of Google street view, “witnesses” a murder).  Good read.

Sue, the check in is available. I took the first "batch" -- 11.30-noon 😘

Thanks Dani, it's on my calendar but I haven't done it yet.  Have you booked your transfer yet?

Have you been following @Jim_Iainblog on the celebrity board . They are on a B3B transatlantic and Europe cruise. They've just received some unwelcome news testing for the third leg 😔

Talking about books, I've just finished listening to Magpie Murders on Audible.

Would recommend. It's a book within a book and very clever

It's by Anthony Horowitz who wrote a lot of the Midsomer Murders TV series

I meant to share this a couple weeks ago.  We celebrated our granddaughter's  1st birthday. I wanted to share because I love the food plates my daughter makes for a get together.

No.

I'm waiting to see what hours the others in our hotel have picked / being given. The lady being in the other hotel [not ours] picked the same hour as us. If the check in hours of the others will differ, we'll combine with "beachbell".

Yes, I've been following, and it is very saddening as well as unnerving... He and Iain have done it all "by the book"... I've seen their pictures, always masked, with N95 to boot 😢😢.

All checked in now, also 11.30 to noon

Thanks for reminding me

Also haven't booked our transport yet, though we will be booking from Rome Airport Hotel.

Poor Jim and Iain. As you say they were so careful. Wearing proper masks, eating in specialist restaurants or suite restaurant,  not going on crowded excursions and not even going to the shows.

And no symptoms at all yet, if it wasn't for the test for the next cruise he wouldn't of known.  It is a bit worrying.

Someone on our cruise doing the cruise prior to ours said there were over 3000 on the current cruise and under 2000 on our repositioning cruise.

This could be a Unicorn!!!!!!!

Ok, I am trying to stay calm.

Andrew, have you ever waxed your boards?  I have wax, I am just not sure if I should apply it or not.

jc

I’ve never waxed my boards, but I know some that have. Maybe Google or the RC flowrider FB page might help you out.

Mine have never gotten hairy enough.😂

Love this picture with the reflection lined up with the rail.

Can’t believe your cruise is almost over.  That seemed like a quick 8 days to me.

So today is our day  to schedule our COVID test and in the past we have used CVS.

Now since it is used for travel, we are not insurance eligible, we would be self pay.

$139

So when I filled out the form to do the rapid, our CVS is now using the one that takes 1-2 days to get back.

Last time they offered the rapid.

Has anyone used CVS and did it really take 1-2 days to come back??

TY

Since there were some post about snakes, just wanted to share a story that was posted from an area north of where we live. Now mind you we have had a ton of bitterly cold snowy weather and yet we have these.

If I saw the snake they would know just by my scream.  LOL

Samantha is very sweet.  She has never even hissed at the other cats.  It is funny because Elmer and Storm fight occasionally but they have never done anything other then play with her.  She doesn't come up to cuddle but she is starting to sleep at the foot of the bed.
