We are awaiting our chariot.  Chris to arrive around 11 am to drive us to Cape Liberty cruise terminal.

Estimated drive time is 1 hr 20 mins.   Hoping we don't have line up of cars that we had end of Aug. For our Oasis sailing.

Wishing you a wonderful cruise.   The backup to get parked for oasis in may was horrendous.

Granddaughter has recovered, and she was off for a weekend of ice skating. Daughter still has a long road ahead of her.  I will be driving her to her weekly treatment tomorrow.

I have been a little behind, because I slept most of Saturday.  Susan woke me up around 1 a.m. Friday night/Saturday morning, because she was having symptoms of a heart attack.  So off we went to spend the night at the ER.  Lots of tests….heart monitor, x-rays, blood work, etc.   Thankfully it was not a heart attack, but likely related to stress.  Anyhow, we both slept a lot once we finally got home.

The ER staff took care of her right away, even though there were way more people than I thought should be there in the middle of the night.

So glad Susan is ok.  What a scare!

Continued prayers for your daughter.

Booked airfare this morning. Flying in on Saturday and flying out after debarkation. Fares were outrageous.

We finally booked flights on Friday. Just about slid off the chair at the pricing.

We’re considering flying for the Bella cruise. The original plan was to drive since we’ll be in Orlando the week prior to the cruise and want to have a car, plus needing to get to Miami.  I just loathe the drive home from Miami.  Flight to Orlando isn’t bad, but then we’d need to rent a car.  Flights home from Miami or Ft Lauderdale after the cruise are outrageous.

@Ocean Boy I love your beach pictures!  RI beaches are unspoiled and so naturally beautiful.  I was there only twice but it left a lasting impression on me.

Allure is all fired up but so far still docked in Galveston, 30 minutes late from sail time. It's foggy and hope all is well and that @firefly333 has a good cruise.

Glad to hear Susan is ok, you guts sure do need a break.  Please take it easy, both of you.

Left home around 11:30, arrived at cape liberty around 1 pm.   and onboard in about 15 mins.  Cabins were ready.

My Boss sent a nice gift!20221204_151156.thumb.jpg.92b8dbe02910f8e7f5a80b6678eac4fa.jpg

Went to sky bar and bartender Rajesh said Hello Debbie🥰 without even seeing my seapass.   The last time  I was on Anthem was April.  Amazing!!!

He asked if I wanted a mojito instead I had a Kraken Colada with floater.  He made a very good one.  Sorry I already drank some before I took photo.

Thsnk God she’s ok and not a heart attack. Stress can cause all kinds of problems. I will be thinking of her and hoping the stress level goes down.

How scary for you both.  So glad she is ok but sorry for all the stress.

That had to be scary.  Thankful it wasn't a heart attack.   I hope she is feeling better😀

Just got home from our Celebrity Beyond cruise good cruise with a a few hiccups, very nice win at casino on last night left me with a large smile . Our cat Joebob is happy we are home . Will answer any questions on beyond that we can but most of our time was in suite areas . Entertainment was by far best we had ever seen on celebrity.

Thank God Susan wasn't having a heart attack;  stress can manifest itself in so many ways.  I am so sorry for all of the stress that you and your family are having to deal with these past several months.  Prayers for peace, good health and happiness for your entire family, Mark.  🙏🙏

Speaking of Celebrity, I got my annual email from them with a code for a free photo book using Mixbook.   That is nice that they do that.   I have used them to create books for some of our sailings.

I used this one to put together a book of our summer with our California grandson.  Just finished it today, and they will ship it to him.  I think it turned out really nice.

Maybe rent a car one way to Miami for embarkment then rent another for ride back to Naples.   Might be cheaper.  We have done this and sometimes able to use credit card points for free car rentals.

That's definitely worth looking into.  Thanks Debbie!

I've gotten these offers but never looked into it.  Perhaps it's time I did!  Thanks for mentioning this!
