I will be 67 next month and been a UK pensioner for 11 months  but I still do a little work as a sales agent on a self employed basis seeing a few of my best customers some I have known for 40 years.

I opened over 500 accounts over 15 years when I was territory manager but been part retired for 7 years.

Wow,that is great,Graham.

I like this one.  Pretty astute for a high school aged kid.

Thank you.The high school I attended had excellent teachers who were wonderful motivators. My graduating class had many who have had great achievements ,4 became authors ,several physicians ,many lawyers

One graduate of the school became Governor of California.

When I was in college I wrote for the literary magazine and one of the student newspapers.

I minored in English in college .

I love accents. Love trying to figure out where people are from based on how they speak. Funny to me how so many Americans mistake Aussie accents for English accents and vice versa. I can differentiate the two quite easily but many apparently cannot! Also interesting how many accents UK has for its size as opposed to Australia which is close in size geographically to the US.

I ,at one time was fluent in 6 languages as was my father. If I conversed in one of the languages I do not believe it is likely that you would be able to tell me where I was from.My father who was native to Poland spoke flawless Italian .

Last night was the second to last of the hockey tryout games. One more tonight at 8, hours from home.

Football season begins today. It probably won't be a strong season, but it is what it is. Owen is game day dressed.

But moving forward, I will just say when you have a major health scare and after many tests —almost all  the results are normal.  Well.  After you thank God for answering your prayers, you savor every moment. Dealing currently with some non life threatening issues as well as  be the best you can be in helping others.

My goodness, I'm so glad you're going to be OK. Hope you can resolve the remaining health issues.

Eric and I are both casino slot players.  Him more than me.  He has been doing well this cruise but I have been doing the up and down dance.

We just had a really nice experience.   While playing a slot machine he was on last night the casino host walked up to him and asked if he was missing a ticket from last night.

He said yes, when he got back to the cabin he realized he didn't have it and went back to the machine as it was for $1300+   noone was at the machine and no ticket so he came back to cabin upset.

Casino host said someone turned it in right after he left the machine last night so they viewed who played and held it at the cashier desk for Eric's return tonight.

We asked if they knew who turned in the ticket so we could thank them with a reward but she didn't know.

So nice when something like this happens.  The world still has plenty of good people.  And on cruise ships.    We wish the finder best luck!!

That's a lovely story with a happy ending Debbie. The people on this ship have been lovely (and the staff amazing ).

We've had a few short visits to the casino, just to spend our limit of $10 a day. In the past we could make it last and even win a bit but last few cruises it only seems to last 30 seconds before it's gone.  The Heidi machines seem very popular,  which ones do you usually frequent?

So today I have my free diamond 24 hour Internet. We are really enjoying the cruise.

The food, after all the hoo ha on CC, we have found perfectly fine.

Bonaire and curaçao in particular have been great stops and we have done lots of snorkeling and swam with turtles and lots of pretty tropical fish on the coral reefs

We enjoyed our first visit to Coco Cay, sharing our visit with Independence. We went to South Beach and saw stingrays and jellyfish 🪼

Today currently hanging out in the DL but just going to the lecture on Titanic

Steaming back  to Boston on the Atlsntic Coast now so a little cooler. Will post some pics later

Lenny, I was reading about dancing for Parkinson, a group based in NY . It is a therapy group. Please google it if it helps you in any way. The Mark Morris Dance Group and dance for PD. It is not like the walks or fundraisers. It teaches people with PD to dance because dancing is supposed to be good for PD. I won't get into details, but I thought about you when I read that. I know that you are in a singing group, so if dancing helps you, go for it!

I needed hearing aids about 5 or so years ago and have trouble hearing some words . Made a big mistake going to a gun range and should have had better protection for my ears , my wife complained I was deaf even before that .

I can totally relate about hearing loss.

Oh no!

I hope it all works out and you get to see Bermuda.

When I saw the Mariner docked next to us I thought about you. You had mentioned Mariner and Bermuda.I would have loved to meet you even for a brief hello.

It would have been fun to meet.

And then to have a familiar face to run into!
When I talk about anything that gets posted here, I always say “one of my friends…” because we know as much about each other than our local friends, maybe even more!

The guy that did my MRI Monday put earplugs in my ears, and they barely stated in.
Consequently the noise was deafening.
It either increased my hearing loss, or cleaned my ears out!

When I had all the MRIs earlier this year the loud noise was like being at a really bad rock concert!
