MJSailors Posted May 8 #121027 Share Posted May 8 @Seadog Chiming in here with what Sue @Lionesssand Bonnie @BonTexasNY have posted re: swollen ankles on vacation. I had experienced them in past cruises, but found that copious amounts of water and walking helped the issue on later cruises. Plus cruise/restaurant food can be loaded with salt and preservatives. At home, we stay away from processed food and try to make good choices while in restaurants. Some lifestyle changes can make a person feel so much better. Hoping your Dr’s can give you good advice and guidance for improved health. MJ🙋🏻♀️ 5

If they had shown that to everyone at the end of the last show, half the audience wouldn't bother tuning in for the finale. This way, they keep all of the Rob fans watching. I hope that none of those 3 women win any money on that show.

Meds might be better for you, but have you tried compression socks? March 2022 on the second leg of our Caribbean B2B cruise on the Explorer she had a vein blowout. Open wound. Not a pretty sight. We met a couple in the DL one evening and sat next to us in the MDR. They advised (based on their personal experiences) my wife to see a wound specialist when we returned home. To tell ya the truth, we never heard of that kind of specialist. Weird conversation but beneficial to my wife. When we got home she saw an open wound specialist and had excellent repair results. One thing the Dr. suggested/ stressed was to wear compression socks. Traveling or not. Every cruise after 2022 she hasn't had issues with ankle, calves and feet swelling. Always wears her compression socks before getting on the plane. I have been wearing compression socks since 2004.I wear them till bedtime .During the night I wear diabetic socks even though I am not diabetic .There are many Wound Specialist doctors in my area.I have been to 2.I

My Vascular doctor recommended wearing Diabetic socks at night in bed.I am not a Diabetic.I use a brand called Tru Fit. I have been wearing them 20 years. They come in black or white and last a long time . 1

We went to the beach and had some chips then went further along the road and watched the Newcastle to Amsterdam DFDS cruise ferry leaving Newcastle. Beautiful pictures Graham. The color of the water looks more like the Med or Caribbean, would have never guessed it was the North Sea 🙂 1

Keksie Posted May 8 #121035 Share Posted May 8 So far only a good bruise. No swelling. Just have to be careful which shoes I wear. The ice has done its job.

I suggested "Samba", since one of the other kitties is a Siamese called "Sushi" (the other one is called Lychee), and we have a very popular chain of restaurants called "Sushi Samba". So now I have another [step]kitty to be proud of 😍 Soo cute. I like the name Samba. He/She looks very soft with big paws. Look forward to more pictures😻 Edited May 8 by Sunshine3601 4

It was closing before they could back out. Darned if one of them didn't back right onto my foot. Ouch that is going to leave a bruise. While on Icon a guy sat next to me in the wheelchair area at a show. Found out that he needed his wheelchair because someone the day before road a scooter over his foot and broke it.

We had our roof replaced last Spring and it does give you peace of mind knowing all is well, especially after the first rain and confirm no leaks. Thank you, Debbie. I love the way it looks. Finally, all matching roofs! When the previous owners had the attached apartment built, the shingles they used didn't match. 21 hours ago, Ozark_Kid said: We just went through a drive-thru. When we got to the window Sharon said sorry if I asked to many questions. He replied, No problem. Ask as many as you what.. .... so I asked, How many seconds are in a year? He was thinking real hard trying to figure it out and then I said ........ 12 ...... There's January 2nd, February 2nd...... He was laughing and asked if I liked any Sundaes. I answered all Sundays. He ended up giving me a free hot fudge sundae and said keep the jokes coming! You and your "dad" jokes!! Love it! You keep us smiling with your jokes, John! I'm looking forward to meeting you in person on our Bella 2 cruise!🥰 3

Rare h20skibum Posted May 9 #121049 Share Posted May 9 Today was grandparent luncheon day at our granddaughter’s school. We brought in toasted subs from our favorite sub shop. Much better than eating school cafeteria food. The school did this every year, but then stopped in 2020 due to the pandemic. This was the first restart since then. We went before then with our grandson, but this was the first with our granddaughter. Yeah, we snuck in a cherry coke for her too. Tonight, it was packing 142 bags of food for kids to take home for the weekend. Only two more weeks of packing before school is out.
