Congratulations to Eric.

Even better news.  Eric has the lucky touch touch but not as lucky as Lioness.   Went to Music Hall to see Led Zeppelin tribute band play acoustics and he popped back into casino and turned  $20 into $547.   Then went to another machine and turned a $5 into a $330.    I turned a $20 into $277.  All in we won just about $2000 tonight.  Time for bed, arrive at Nassau at 7 am

We have a sign with each month listed along the bottom with hooks under each month.  Under each month we hang disks with the names of those having a birthday or anniversary and the day.  March has the most, 8 birthdays and 1 anniversary.

Happy birthday.

The 4 Grandkids at Cousin Camp  just FaceTime and sang Happy Birthday!  So cute.  And I got a video text from Kenzie trying to say Happy Birthday Gpa.  She got Gpa out pretty good 😊.

Happy Birthday 🥳

Hope you had a fab day. So cute with the little ones 🤗

Beautiful weather all this week. Daffodils, tulips and blossom out and leaves on the trees budding.

We've been looking after our sons crazy golden retriever pup whilst he's off skiing.

Our poor molly is so good she let's the puppy jump all over her. She's only 7 months old but weighs more than molly and is bigger. It's quite a challenge taking her for a walk.

Happy birthday to @Ozark_Kid  Now you can start using those social security checks for more cruises.

Our day yesterday was spent dealing with fraudulent charges and getting credit card canceled and reissued.  It is one we use all the time, so now we have to wait a week till the new one gets here for our next spending spree.

On a good note, new suitcases arrived yesterday.  My insurance claim on the old suitcase hasn’t moved. It has been assigned, but not reviewed yet.

Picked up our grandson after school and took him out to eat, then bowling.  We realized that the last time we took him to that bowling alley was the Wednesday before Covid shut everything down two years ago.

You know you aren’t going.  Remember all of your feelings about cruising with covid… it is out there waiting for you!  😆

jc

Guess that would depend if there were still any protocols for the sailing and what the current conditions were for the ports we are visiting.

I sure hope all is good for both of you to go on the Panama cruise.   Great itinerary 🤩

One of our morning newspapers is reporting that a couple of local hospitals have had zero Covid cases for several consecutive days.  That is the first time since the start of this thing.

Let’s hope that is the start of something good.

As for protocols, I think those will still be around for a while. I was hoping that testing would disappear before our May cruise, but that doesn’t appear likely.  Looks like I will need to order more tests next month.

I also had my card hacked this week. Luckily it's one that I  don't use much.

The low number of votes seemed to throw him off.

I can see why. He would have no clue they all lost their votes.
Everyone went up to vote and Jeff only came up with two votes.
I’d have thought I was being gaslighted or I was going to wake up in my own bed!

Everyone that has cruised has seemed to have a great time. That’s what I’m counting on.

@Ozark_Kid

Happy birthday.

Welcome to the club.

Remember to get your AARP card for all those discounts  (😲)

As we were watching Survivor last night the satellite dish went out, but having a great DH we still have a backup oldie but goodie antennae on the roof.

It worked.   And I must say, that was another new twist happening on Survivor, and I was actually hoping as the show went on that they would have to do rocks.  And "Mr. I am not going to change my vote" pulled the rock.

A few of those gusts of wind were house shattering, and the lightning, well was enough to have the cat turn over on her spot on the couch, yawn and go back to sleep.  We have some branches down, but I guess you would if you live on a wooded lot.

Back yard pond, no damage, oh were not supposed to have a pond, must be from all that rain.

Take care

We are on b2b sailing and I asked Loyalty Ambassador last about scheduling our covid test.   He said we should receive instruction by Thursday or Friday morning at latest (IF STILL REQUIRED).   I looked at him in shock and questioned him about his wording.    He said, it is not yet confirmed but we may stop testing b2b passengers in near future as it has been rare to have one test positive in the recent weeks.    I was shocked to hear this.   He then said don't quote me - HA!

IMO, that would be a good change.

I would be curious as to what number were testing positive in the pre-cruise testing. I know that Michael Bayley said last fall, that the number was between 2 and 10 per sailing.  I would think that those numbers are probably much less now.

Fantastic. The best I ever did in one day on a cruise was when instead of playing 30 cents on a slot machine I played $3.00 and won $547.00 on one spin.I did not give it back.

My grand dog is leaving tomorrow afternoon. He did not find a girlfriend on his visit here nor did any CC person seem interested in making a match.I e-mailed his picture to Belle’s male human but apparently 10 year old Porter is too old for her. However, she will be spending a few days with his other grandmother in Virginia and may have better fortune there.
