Without seeing the x-ray or knowing the location or her health history, I'd estimate 4 weeks and good and solid in 6.

They don't seem to share xrays here as I have seen from others. I'm sure they would but I don't want to go through 5 levels of bureaucracy at the hospital. I am in between primary care physicians. Mine retired, I went to Kaiser for a year, and I was waiting until we moved to find a new one.

Is this your Amelia Island trip or is this the Gulf?

It is our local beach.  45 min. drive to Navarre beach.  Amelia Island is on hold until I know what the Dr. wants to do about my kidney.  I hope to get it taken care of next week with a short down time and then we can plan the Amelia Island get away.

Your yard is beautiful

The area of the last pic had sticks all around it to stop the deer.   Shortly after the fence was done they were all pulled out.  Since the fence was completed, we haven't even seen deer in our neighbor's yard.  Our flowers and garden must of lured them here.

Today’s sand sculpture was a dragon.

We lucked out, because the rain we did get today was while we were eating meals.

Or maybe that was drinking some. A Myrtle Vice and a Funky Monkey for lunch.

And for dinner a coastal breeze

and cheesecake.

We decided to make our final payment for our next cruise.  It's on Utopia, 4 night September 30th.  We would love it if some "accidentally " booked it.

It will be a challenge to drive there but we are planning to try.

Finnley had a doctor's appointment today. She is already 3 feet tall.  She is in the 97% in height for her age.  She will be 2 next month.

How do you like her art work on her knees.

Kenzie still takes care of her.

I have heard from lots of people that say she is very approachable, extremely nice and gives her time freely for pictures and questions. I like and respect her very much. Let’s face it she was the first ever female cruise ship captain and I’m sure she had to face a lot of obstacles and skepticism.

The first female captain of a cruise ship was Karin Stahre-Janson (Swedish) in 2007 on the Monarch OTS. Kate was the first American captain in 2015. Both were captains of modern mega cruise ships. Who the first female captain of a large ship (cargo, etc.) was, I have no idea. I will say, Kate is the prettiest. 🙂

Ok, I went down another rabbit hole. I was now curious who the first female captain of a ship was. The second sentence was interesting to me. I never would’ve thought that the Soviets would encourage women to go into traditional male roles, especially back then.

The first woman professional captain was a native of Vladivostok in Russia, Anna Ivanovna Shchetinina in 1935. Although the Soviet authorities encouraged women to enter traditionally male professions, it was difficult to put into practice.”

Good afternoon.

It is 56°F and partly sunny now at 12.05pm.

We got some chips at the Fish shop near our usual parking spot overlooking the North sea.

My Arthritis prevented me from putting my feet up for the photo.😋😊

Sigh I am a photo fail. No feet pictures.  Next time.

You are not a photo fail. Your feet just failed to photo.  😜

Where as with Ocean Boy, his feet rally for most every photo. They must battle with Jade for camera lens supremacy in his home.
