No, the link you posted had “grandfather pleads guilty” in it, easy to tell that was the criminal case because the Grandfather’s guilt has ZERO to do with the civil trial.

So,  you are interested since you read it.

What's you view?

I agree with your CC name. Not- enough- CRUISING! We canceled 2 this month. Have 2 booked for Nov.

Don't think we will do them as of now.

Repeating your lines over and over doesn't make them right, nor does it make them equal "common sense".

Enjoy your cruise with the mask, I just choose not to cruise with one. If I can, I will, and if not I will do something else.

Right now, around here, if a business tries to require a mask....we won't go. Masking around here is waning. Still see some sheep here and there.

Baaaaaaa,   As a business owner, I absolutely require masks 100%... if you want to go some where else, that is your right.  It is my right to keep my staff safe.

People who are cruising much more than 5-6 times a year are probably not all that concerned with getting back to work on time. Maybe I am wrong.

Everyone in the circle of friends I frequently cruise with, including my wife and I, are in their mid 40s to mid 50s. All of us still work full time. Living in Florida definitely helps us to be able to cruise more often since we don’t have to worry about air fares, hotels and other travel related expenses other than driving to the port.

We are scheduled for January. I may wear a mask some of the time even if not required. Better safe than sorry. I fall in to a higher risk group.  But a day on the ship is better than a day at home.

We're booked in November if she sails we will be on board even if it means wearing a mask been sitting at home way to long waiting for this to go away.

Wearing a mask will be the new norm for a long time. Wear one or find a new hobby.

I don't think you are correct, but if you are I have found my new hobby.  Will just go to beach destinations where they aren't required.  Looking forward to my HIlton Head trip this weekend and one to Pensacola at the end of July.

Why are some people so dead against wearing a mask?

Some ole story!

Nobody, NOBODY, is going to tell me what to wear!

Was Formal dress code/ suggestions.

Now, masks.

Did you get your shots as a kid?

Did that help you and others, too?

I know,  we are adults.

So,  no one is going to tell me what to do.

If your an adult, no one should tell you what to do. You should know what to do.

Grow up. Be responsible. Think of others.

People have died because they would NOT social distance, protect themselves and others.

Do you want to be one of the 140,000 projected by August 1st?

I DON'T!

YOUR CHOICE,  YOUR LIFE.

DON'T PASS IT ON TO OTHERS!

HAPPY CRUISING!

Venice, Italy 06/14/20

Inside the palace, masks are compulsory, numerous signs encourage people to "keep their distance" and all the rooms are controlled to avoid overcrowding.

No mask, keep out!

Totally agree with you. The biggest problem today is that too many people are self centered, ME ME ME.

Seen it on the ships.

Get me this, give me that.

No please or thank you.

No respect for others.

Why should they? They paid for their vaccination. They are the Kings and Queens. Should be treated as such. BS!

Treat others as you would like to be treated. You only get the respect you deserve.

Regardless of your position,  status or wealth, you must respect those you interface with daily as you cannot do it by yourself.

This will MAGA, not some bully running around the ship. JMHO

I booked a cruise for November because it was ridiculously cheap. Whether I go will depend on what I am able to do in the ports. The islands I am supposed to go to have very effectively protected their people by closing their borders, so I am not worried for myself; the question is whether they think we pose too much danger to them. If the port visits are too limited, I'm out. I always wear a mask when in public indoor places even though it is very uncomfortable for me. I am OK with masks in corridors and theaters on a ship (as well as museums and such on land) and will spend little time in bars. I would be cool with that on this cruise as I will be solo and planned to spend most of my shipboard time reading. TBH, a cruise with low numbers of people who are keeping their distance from me sounds kinda great this particular time. If the pools are closed, is that a dealbreaker? Dunno.

I have a charter cruise booked in 2021 that is a very different animal. The onboard entertainment and parties are the whole point and it simply can’t work with social distancing, nor can the promoter pay the talent with a severely restricted number of passengers. I would not dance shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of others today even with masks, and it would suck severely to wear one. If they are allowed to go forward as “normal,” perhaps requiring everyone to be tested, I will make a decision based on the virus situation at the time I have to make the call. I don’t think it’s going to be difficult, as I think the event will be canceled if the situation does not radically improve. In other words, I expect the judgement of the promoters and the talent will be similar to mine anyway.

If what you want from a cruise is the kind of social experience I am expecting from my charter, I don’t think you are going to get that soon, possibly not until there is a vaccine.

Thanks for your permission......and Baaaaaa, I will, along with most everybody else around here.

If other businesses don't require it, you won't last long.

L454S it's thinking like this that isn't helping slow the spread of this virus it really isn't that hard to wear a mask for a while, while in public not to just protect yourself but others also.  Newcruiser1956 I personally would rather shop in your business than somewhere that doesn't require masks. L454S your thinking is why we won't be cruising for quite a long time.

Hilton head?  SC  is hitting new Covid highs every day.  Expect lots of business requiring masks.

Shhh don't tell anyone but Pensacola is awesome.  You will have a great time.  The only time I have had to wear a mask was to get my nails done.  Everyone is very good about social distance at the beaches and they are beautiful right now.  We are going one day this week.  The restaurants are great about social distance seating and so are the stores.  Far less close contact then at WalMart or Home Depot.

Agree...helps to stop the spread by wearing a mask...I do while in Walmart, or grocery store, etc..

But once again...the mask does not protect you...it protects others from you.   Source:  My sister is a doctor...specialist...and infectious disease specialist.

Want protection for yourself...this is your mask:

Wasnt here, the video of a guy saying how masks cab be dangerous and stuff? I totally agree with him. Wearing a mask a whole day will only do harm. You will kep inhailing the bacterias and mud collected on the mask. If you really want to be safe, just stay at home and wash her hands more often.
