Wearing an open face on the BMW's just wouldn't look right!!

My thought if I have to wear a mask anywhere on the cruise I sure hope they allow you to cancel without penalty because I will not go.  I have to wear them at work and don't want to do that on vacation!!!

CWC allows you to cancel up to 48 hours before sailing and get a 100% FCC for all money paid without penalty.

I think it’s butt ugly and no desire to have one. Besides, looks like a car trying to pretend to be a motorcycle. Not sure it would make it through the first turn on “The Tail of the Dragon “

Looks like it would be a challenge to split lanes while threading your way thru a traffic jam.

In an attempt to stay adjacent to the topic, if 2 motorcycle riders are within 6 feet of each other, do they need masks? Or does it matter which way the wind is blowing?*🙃

* asked in jest, no serious reply necessary.  😉😇

It’s not that easy to ride within 6 feet of each other.

Very few people I would trust to ride within 6 feet.

So I guess what I saw on the TV show CHiPS was not realistic? 😉

They were at 3-4 feet apart and are professionally trained Motormen. The training required to earn your wings is very difficult. A typical class with 30 candidates may graduate 1-3. These guys and gals are great riders.

Fortunately for us, we have a friend here who is a retired motor officer and instructor. We work the cones with him as much as we can. There are a lot of rodeos around the country to train, participate, and compete.

Most civilian riders want to know how far to the next bar.

Back on topic, haven’t seen any Motormen wearing a mask.

I suggest anyone who is willing to wear a mask all day on a cruise give it a test run by wearing it 8 to 10 hours everyday for a week.

If masks are required all the times when you are outside of your cabin I doubt anyone will be cruising.

I guess you can do both - protect people's health and their livelihoods.

I think this is one of the most important things we all need to consider.  When my portfolio was tanking back in March I was having a fresh heart attack every other day.  Thankfully my advisor kept me on track through this.  As of this AM I'm actually up 6.5% this year.  The indefinite shutdown ideas would have bankrupted us all.  Thankfully, we've found a balance between safety and prosperity and can stem the tide of destruction.

Whenever we had 2 or more we always road side by side and that is closer that 6 ft.

Anyhow. What does any of this have to do with wearing masks on a cruise. A bit off the topic is it not.

Agree. I would wear a full face "mask" to hide my face if I was riding that POS!

Nice. But where's the Harley pictured in your Avatar? Now that's a bike. 👍 Old school all the way.

Nothing and way off topic.

My mind tends to wander.

On topic: I would not cruise if a mask was required.  Now, if it was only required during embarkation/disembarkation, muster drill, walking into the MDR or waiting on line at the WJ while they plate my food for me, I guess I might reconsider.

But poolside, in the theater, casino, hanging out at the piano bar, etc, definitely a non-starter for me.

Poolside Ok. No need.

Theater, casino, bar - unless 6 feet distance, mask should be required if used at other times on ship.
